  • Make yourself right at home in this cozy and historic 3-bedroom Carolina Beach retreat - 5 minute walk to the beach . This bungalow offers 2 queen beds and 1 bunk bed, perfect for families or friends looking for a tremendous getaway. Located on a quiet street with amenities like a backyard, an iron, AC, and heating, as well as 2 bathrooms with a hair dryer and bathtub, your stay will be nothing short of wonderful. Please note that we do not provide sheets and towels- the house does come with comforters and pillows. Most people bring their own or rent them locally from Seaside Linens. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our bungalow.

Jennifer was a very prompt responder even when I may not have been, and was super friendly. She was very informing on her requests at the property and what was to be expected when we arrived. Her simple but concise instructions were very helpful.

PERFECT LOCATION, quick walk to the beach! When we're booking a property, we have 3 MAIN criteria to start looking, Allows Pets (we have two large dogs that travel with us everywhere, Enough bedrooms and Price; in that order. This place checked all the boxes for us. When we go on a trip to the beach (or anywhere for that matter), the housing accounts for about 10% of our actual time as we spend our time and money elsewhere, so finding a nice priced option that fits our needs is excellent. This place was just that. It was an inexpensive way to spend 5 days at the beach. It's exactly what I would have expected of an "original beach house." It was very cute and had everything we needed. The Central AC worked and kept the home very comfortable. Everything worked. Don't pay any attention to Marlene; seems like the kind of person that loves to complain. She either can't control her dogs or is too lazy to want to do so. I have a 110 lb and a 160 lb dog that are voice trained and very behaved. They had absolutely no issues with the non-fenced ion back yard. There is plenty of room for your pets. We had no issues during are stay and would go back. It is truly a 5 minute walk to the beach so it was perfect. Thanks for the stay

I don’t even know where to start. I have never seen a more dirty close to filthy accommodation. From the floor, dishes to the badly stained mattress. The sliding door does not even have a door handle The light fittings and ceiling fans are covered in dust. We even had to replace the AC filter. The washing machine had standing water in and the dryer vent is so blocked it takes 3 hours to dry a set of sheets. No racks in the refrigeration dirty oven with only 2 cook tops working at an angle. (The host did replace these while we were there). We didn’t use the microwave nor the toaster oven as I didn’t feel to clean that as well. It also would have been courteous to inform tenants how bad the water is. According to my water tester it is not fit for human consumption. No outdoor entertainment area. A wooden picnic table that is falling apart and a Lonesome Weber grill against the house. Finally calling a place dog friendly means there is a secure outside area for your dog. Dogs allowed, not dog friendly. The 2 stars are for the safe neighborhood and location to the beach. No I cannot recommend this old run down, poorly maintained beach cottage.
