"It’s a beautiful resort and a good value for the price. However, the food variety and taste leaves a lot to be desired. I never went hungry but it could have been better. It was hard to get into the few speciality restaurants. I would go again but stay somewhere else."

"Staying at La Sagesse for 4 days was a perfect experience for my family! If you’re looking for a quiet, affordable, not commercialized or built up spot to stay, with delicious fresh food every day, with a beautiful beach just about to yourself, then this is your place. The beach is so nice, and when we were here in July we had the beach almost entirely to ourselves. The water was calm, and the scenery was amazing. The creek flowing in to the ocean on the side of the property is cool. There are a lot of trees at the back of the beach, so you can relax in a chair in the shade (or move it in to the sun). The IHG was still under construction, but I think even when that opens it'll still be quiet on the beach here. The staff here is so helpful. They booked our airport transfers, and an all day island tour through the manager, and they were great experiences. Especially the tour with Mr. Boney! The restaurant is awesome - great food, fresh fish every day. You can just roll on in whenever you want for a meal or drink, and they had a table set aside for us every evening. Our Ocean View Family loft was a queen bed on the upper level with a view of the beach, and 2 twin beds on the main level. Beds were very comfy, the AC worked great, shower was good. The cleaning every day was good and thorough. The tub of water outside of the rooms to clean the sand off of your feet is a nice touch. I can't say enough good things about the room. I can't say enough great things about La Sagesse!"

"A Hidden Gem in the Countryside I planned to spend three weeks in Grenada, so finding the right place was important to me. I called several properties because I wanted to get a sense of the staff and the environment before booking. Mrs. Drake was the only person who answered my call. After our brief conversation, I had a feeling I had found somewhere safe, welcoming, and peaceful. When I arrived, the two-bedroom villa exceeded my expectations. It was tastefully decorated, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I sent pictures to my friends and family back home, and they were impressed and asked how I had found such a beautiful place. What made Clarenceville Villa truly special, however, was the property itself. The spacious grounds are surrounded by nature and filled with an incredible variety of exotic flowers. I enjoyed wandering through the property and walking down to the river. When I did venture out to explore Grenada, I discovered that the villa was only a few miles away from the beach, restaurants, marina, and other hotels. Clarenceville Villa was also the only budget-friendly options in the area. Judy was wonderful. Having lived in the States for much of her life, she could relate to me in a way that made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Thanks\ you to everyone for this amazing experience and I hope to return soon."

"Romantic and relaxing with great views of the jungle and ocean. Room could use a little TLC with things like a broken soap dish in the shower, but we are an active outdoor couple and don't need grand comfort. You are in the tropical jungle so expect bugs. The voice of the jungle speaks at night. As we are active travelers we spent much time exploring the island and scuba diving , then would come back to our room to cool off in the pool and relax with the million dollar view! You are remote so a rental car or a driver is a must. We only ate dinner at the Lodge the first night there, my wife had the chicken and I had the fish and they were delicious! As they prep each meal that day, you must in form the Lodge of reservations for your meals, we were alway out and about so never knew when we would be back we didn't eat there m. We constantly ate were ever we might be or used the well stocked kitchen to prepair our own meals. The staff are some of the nicest and helpful people we have met. The Villa is about a 1 hour drive from St. George and the roads are small and wind through the mountains. If you are not an adventurous driver or passenger you may feel like you are on the roller coaster ride of your life. If you get lost or like we did get stuck in one of the many roadside ditches the locals are friendly and willing to help you in a moment! Enjoyed our time here and were sad when it came time to pack our bags and close the door one last time behind us! Thanks for the memories!"
