Hotel Riu Palace Aquarelle - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"Welcoming team was excellent, Natasha was incredibly informative. The resort is kid-friendly (includes kids entertainment shows) and food accessibility is excellent. I personally want to give credits where it's due, food is available in almost every corner of the resort, so drink responsibly :). Shout out to the Buffet Team for their punctuality, good mood, good vibe, effectiveness and my bestie Adrian 💕 The restaurants are worth trying (my favorite being: Krital, French as the fish was beautifully cooked. My husband had an irk with Kyoto as the chicken satae was unseasoned :(. We also enjoyed Napoli and the Steak House, our boy particularly loved it for the service entrance 😀). Nb: make sure to book the restaurants ahead of time as unlike the buffets, it is NOT a walk-in situation. Make sure to checkout the spa, it's cute, the service is incredibly fast and efficient. I was taken care by Nadia and she was very professional and patient with me. The views and the beach are definitely a 5/5. Overall, a very pleasant stay! I will recommend."

Serenade All Suites - Adults Only Resort

"Loved the room how spacious our bedroom suite was but floors including the shower floor was dusty as soon as we get there. Housekeepers cleaned the floors only on day 4, even tho they came into the room everyday. We had elite package for our stay and staff never mentioned the extra amenities and we had to keep asking for it. Overall this was our first all inclusive resort in the Caribbean and didn’t really care for it, won’t be doing again."

"The rooms smell like humidity. The food was bad at the “seafood” restaurant. The buffet did not offer a variety of foods, only one kind of steak, chicken and pork. No shrimp or fish options. Everyday was the same food. For a tropical country there were no tropical fruits. No guava, mango or even avocado. Italian restaurant was okay."

"We had no water for 2 days and then the ac stopped working it was very humid to where u couldn’t even sleep then when we called somebody to come check it out they said they were sending somebody and never sent them and we called twice the reception kept hanging up the phone,the elevator smelled terrible the buffet food was awful and the pool looked like they didn’t even throw and chemicals in it over All if your a very clean and like atleast 4 star hotels then it’s definitely not for you I know I won’t go back there!0stars"

Serenade Punta Cana Beach & Spa Resort - All Inclusive

"This was not a good experience. Upon arrival and after travelling many hours to reach our destination, our room was not in accordance with expectations. After much consultation with staff, a request was offered for a upgrade to preferred status and an expected high level of service and quality room for which I was charged an additional $800. The money would have been well worth spent if not for other issues including poor service delivery at one of the upscale restaurants and general apathy when certain requests were made to address issues including the maid entering our room while my wife was in the bathroom. This event was the highly unacceptable for my wife who was not feeling well and led us to cut our stay short by checking out three days prior to expected final date of our stay. I discussed with a preferred representative and requested a three-day credit for early departure and was told a supervisor would make a decision in due course as to allowance of the credit. Our departure date was Monday May 11, 2026, and as of today's date I am yet to receive a response or feedback. This is very disconcerting because I paid in excess of $400 per day for the daily rate (after the upgrade) and feel that it was not money well spent. Very disappointing and clearly not an experience that was enjoyable given my wife and I were looking forward to spending time in the country having previously had a great experience at a different hotel in January 2025."

"Beach chairs are old, the ones with a shade were mostly broken. I got there @7:30 am every morning to pick good ones and save a spot. Wrote a note to housekeeper about a concern but no response. Water pressure to fill bottles were terrible. Bahamas has gotten so expensive, it’s almost ridiculous. The place is beautiful but it might be a while till we return. Been there 4 times now."
