- Borgo
Village on the seashore, accessible from several points but with the current main entrance consisting of Porta Pia. The first nucleus of the current historic center arose as a strategic fortified place in the Byzantine period, between the 9th and 10th centuries.
The walls were fortified when the town was a fief of the Ruffo family. The complete length of the perimeter is about one kilometer, interspersed with eight towers.

Corso XX Settembre
Immediately after the main entrance of Porta Pia or Porta Nuova, there is the Palazzo del Seminario, built in the first half of the seventeenth century.
From the door begins the Corso XX Settembre, the main street once "Via Duomo", along which the Cathedral of San Michele Arcangelo first rises and, immediately afterwards, the Episcopal Palace, preceded by Piazza del Borgo (Piazza Plebiscito), where there is the bell tower with a clock, built in 1904.

Dome of the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel
The request was built in the fifth century and was rebuilt, under the episcopate of Monsignor Nicola Golia in 1857, by Carmine Ruggiero.
The façade is preceded by a portico, from which the bell tower rises, built later. The dome is covered with polychrome majolica tiles.
The interior has three naves, separated by massive Ionic columns, arranged in pairs.

The burial consists of a "subterranean chamber" tomb, located on a hill near the sea in the Salto locality, easily reachable from the main road 106.
- Church of the Observants
The church was built in 1441 by order of Bonaccorso Caponsacco.
It is a few hundred meters from the walls of the Borgo. It is a work of monastic architecture in "late Gothic" style, and has a quadrangular apse.
The entrance portal to the building is ogival in stone. The dome has ribs covered with polychrome majolica tiles.

The Archaeological Park of Sibari is located in Cassano all'Ionio, in the hamlet of Sibari, in the Parco Del Cavallo area, Casa Bianca, in the province of Cosenza. This is the site of one of the richest and most important Greek cities of Magna Graecia. The excavation finds are preserved in the National Archaeological Museum of Sibaritide.
