"Smart hotel in Bayeux town centre with secure parking. Plentiful breakfast and the room was clean and tidy. Lift broke whilst we were there (with us in it), but appeared to be quickly repaired within 12 hours. Pool is outside and shared with adjacent hotel. You pay to use the spa/sauna etc. On the pricey side for a smallish space and sauna really should be included in the deal, but nevertheless, internationals welcome, friendly staff and accommodating."

"We were lucky enough to stay in a 3-story house with a little kitchen/ living room and 4 bedrooms plus 2 bathrooms and a little garden in the back, it’s an easy walk the cathedral and the old town. The staff was super friendly with reservations and recommendations"
Domaine de Bayeux

"Domaine de Bayeux is a charming property located just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Bayeux. Set on spacious grounds, it combines a beautiful 18th-century main house with two more modern buildings. The staff were warm and welcoming, the breakfast was generous and enjoyable, and the gardens were beautifully maintained and pleasant to relax in. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable, with a small area for making hot drinks. The only drawback was the noise in the main building. Sound carries quite easily, so we could hear guests in neighboring rooms, as well as people on the ground floor during check-in and breakfast. If you are sensitive to noise, I would recommend asking for a room in one of the newer buildings. Overall, a very pleasant and well-located place to stay in Bayeux."

"Gently fading grandeur. We had a lovely time and the pool/spa are very nice. Staff were friendly. Bar prices seem to reflect what this hotel used to be like, rather than its current state of maintenance as a few things weren't working eg room phones, spa shower. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked lovely."
