We enjoyed sharing meals with other visitors and our tour of the property with Mr. Kelly. Sleeping amidst the jungle overnight was a magical experience. "There was lots of room inside, not terribly comfortable but comfortable enough. It was nice outside, but I stayed out too long and got eaten by the sand fleas. It was actually a pretty nice location. There was a little trouble communicating, but the staff was very nice and helpful."

"Wonderful property. We were able to dive in the water right outside our door off the deck. Mandy and PJ are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was awesome. Food nearby was awesome. The only knock I would have is that across the channel, the clubs in Bocas Town are loud until 2 AM. Fortunately, Mandy and PJ provide white noise sound bars in the room. We would definitely come back!"

"Ataraxia is a peaceful and beautiful place hidden between jungle and sea. Saw plenty of wild life both on land and at sea. The food was delicious and the owners and staff always teady to go the extra mile to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Would come back a hundred times if i could. "I have stayed here many times, and the relaxed vibe always brings me back. The grounds have one of the best sunset views. The staff is fun and attentive. We think the restaurant has some of the best food and drinks in Bocas. It easy to get a water taxi to Isla Colon or other islands. You can relax by the pool, enjoy the beautiful garden, or read a book in your over the water cabina."
