We could not have been happier with our stay! The comms in the run up to our stay were great. Check in super easy. The hosts were so friendly and instantly made us feel welcome. Beautiful gardens, amazing shepherds hut with everything you could possibly need. I would 100% recommend this place. The area is beautiful too. Costal walks and nice pubs all within easy reach. Thumbs up all round 👍🏼😀

On time of booking i was lead to believe the shepherd's hut was mobility friendly with an access path gravelled piror to my arrival i received a text stating that the hut i booked and paid for someone else had got there first and i allocated the better one out of the two on arrival itself the 2nd hut had no path leading to the accommodation weather was bad so the grounds where wet soggy and muddy the hut wasnt describe as the owners stated bet one out of the two and certainly wasnt disable friendley .
I had to struggle to the main house where i was greeted by a member of who admitted the mix up but didnt rectify the issues where i was originally booked for what she did provide was walking hiker stick , a wheel barrow to transport our bags although she didnt offer to helps us it was raining that day so maybe weather played a part on her decision not too
No dog waste bin was provided until late on the 2nd day i was told to put it into boot of my car then a bin appeared late sat evening.
The owners did say they would reimburse some discount thats not happened all i did get my deposit back .
I found the whole experience a shambles and recommend that the advertisement to be written out as not suitable for people with mobility issues .
Down the bottom of the garden, amongst the trees, with everything you need. No wifi or phone signal. Extremely comfortable bed. Very very clean. There is a woodburner with logs supplied but the weather was not cold enough to use. A very lovely escape.
