We loved the place! It was spacious and comfortable. Just a few wish list items: smart tv, extra trash bags, lighting over mirrors in bathroom, cloths drying rack was broken. We will definitely be coming back!

Was a lovely enjoyable stay , place was spacious more than adequate and clean . The only disappointment we had was the very strong smell of smoke and weed in the corridors outside level two . The location of the apartments was superb and definitely be booking very soon Thankyou for a lovely stay

Great location. General lack of communication- only replies to emails were after our arrival. The tv could do to be mounted higher up but overall a good little place to stay. I would stay again. Thank you

Second time staying here and will book here again if staying in Cardiff Bay. Comfy and clean. Everything you need is in the apartment. Sainsbury’s next door which is really handy, a minutes walk to all the bars and restaurants. There is also a bus stop under a minutes walk which takes you right into Cardiff Centre

Very roomy flat , clean and tidy with all the amenities you would wish for. Good location with car park nearby and plethora of restaurants nearby. Make sure you ask for car park discount card. On the downside three seater settee for four person accommodation, dripping tap in hall bathroom . But on the whole really good place and would stay there again.

I cannot rate this property highly enough.Apartment was spacious clean and exceeded my expectations. Fully equiped kitchen fridge/freezer oven /hob microwave, washing mch/dryer and dishwasher....what more could you need. I would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to return soon.

Nice flat but wasn’t that clean, ring marks in kitchen and shower was moldy and corners of room dusty. Living room window was also broken so couldn’t close it. Very comfy bed though

Did the job for a lads trip

Basic apartment, but you get what you pay for. Beds were comfy and clean towels provided. 20 min walk to the city center. Mold in the shower in the en-suite. Some renovations going on a the moment so all the floor is covered in plastic. A very rude awakening on our last day when we had drilling right outside our room at 0830, zero consideration for guests staying. Lots of noise from other guests in the evenings.

Apartment are ok but not in the best shape. Some windows wouldn’t close proper. When very hot there were no fans and no possibility of having ones brought. Area around is very nice but lots of noise as one of the restaurants plays music many hours a day. Also my location wasn’t great as there was a garbage container just below my balcony which meant I couldn’t open windows too often as flies would come in. Overall the apartment was nicely located but I would recommend a hotel.

Ok but wouldn’t stay again.

Good points - it’s a good location. We felt safe and it was local to Cardiff bay. Car park isn’t too far away and it was £6 a day after using coupons given to us. Free Wi-Fi. Working tv. Bad points - strong smell of cannabis coming from next door so we couldn’t enjoy the balcony/having doors open as much as we wanted to, condition of property was quite poor… property has a damaged en-suite door, kitchen floor needs replacing as it’s a trip hazard, several doors bump into a light/lampshade so this needs removing, cleanliness could have been a lot better… sofa cushions stink of cigarette smoke, curtains are so dirty/stained, toilet seat in en-suite was so dirty/stained . It was very hot in the apartment with just a tiny fan available so more fans/air con needed for summer and more towels needed.

Great location

The apartment was in the perfect location with a fast charger outside the door and discounted parking nearby. However the apartment could do with a good clean and checking before renting. There was only a very rusty frying pan, no trays for the oven, only1 fork between the two of us and the tv didn’t work. The person on the phone was excellent and did her best to rectify the faults all except the tv which couldn’t be fixed until Monday. Not her fault. We cut our stay short and left on Saturday morning a day early. We were very disappointed.

Great location - if you can find it!

Great, clean apartment in a fab location down on the quay. About 25 mins walk into Cardiff centre. We had apartment 7, with a view of the Millennium Centre and down towards the quay. The difficulty with being on this side of the building was the 6am deliveries to the Sainsbury’s Local below. Don’t expect a lie in! Finding the apartment was a trial and not what we needed after 4 hours on trains. Despite what looked like good instructions we spent 20 mins in the area and had to make a call to get extra info. Once you know it’s above the Sainsbury’s it’s simple to find, but the postcode covers a big area and the spot in the map linked in instructions shows the building on the wrong side of the road. While clean, the space needs some good maintenance. The loo flush was unreliable, bedroom door handles not working and chain not attached to the plug meant using a knife to let the water out. The windows don’t shut properly either, making it draughty. Despite the issues, this was a great spot for a family city break. We loved the dining options at Mermaid Quay and the space to relax after a day of sight-seeing. Sorting better location instructions - a What3Words would nail it - would have got us off on a better footing!
