Escape to Wall Street Suites, a unique micro-suite in the city’s former water department. Historic pipes and meters add charm, while modern comforts make it a cozy retreat just steps from East Campus.

THE SPACE:
Relax in a chic, industrial suite with a queen bed, Smart TV, and fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, cookware, spices, and complimentary coffee). The bathroom has a modern shower, and board games and books are provided for cozy nights in.

COMMON AREA
Work in the shared desk space or unwind in the seating areas designed for guests. Starter kit includes 3 rolls of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels.

The host was great, very responsive and had us prepared for our arrival. The apartment is very nice and had everything we needed for our short stay and was a perfect location for our needs. The apartment is on the third floor with no working elevator which could be an issue for some.

This was a perfect apartment for the two of us! It is small, but very comfortable and had everything we needed! It was in a great location - close to hiking, local restaurants, the alpaca farm, and great local shops. We had a wonderful long weekend!

Great place

We were a little concerned by the outside of the building, but inside was a different story. The place is clean and has reasonable amenities, parking was plentiful, and check-in/out process was easy. We didn’t try to use the elevator but since the rooms are on the 3rd floor, that would have made it easier getting our luggage in. Overall a great stay.

Cute and charming place perfect for SIU parents

We stayed here on parents weekend at SIU and it was literally walking distance from the dorms where our son lives. Despite it being across the street from the east campus dorms, it was very quiet. It's like a small hotel with a lobby and four units. All were booked but we didn't hear anything from anyone. So peaceful. The room had a small kitchen which was perfect for breakfast. The bathroom had a great shower with very soft towels. The bed was also super comfy. A fan was even provided which was a nice touch for those that like that while sleeping. We will definitely be back. The only drawback for some would be that it's up two flights of stairs on the third floor. Totally fine for us but may not be perfect for all.

Entrance has a warehouse feel. Once you reach the 3rd floor you are greeted by an inviting foyer with swings and chairs to visit. Around the corner is a hall with multiple rooms that were rented out. Our room was gorgeous and had all the essentials! We will return !

Pleasantly surprised

Visiting daughter at SIU. It couldn’t have been any closer! We were there for her track meet and it only took us 5 minutes drive each way. Unlike hotels, this rental was so very quiet and peaceful. I will admit that when I walked through the first door to go upstairs to the unit I thought, “what have I done?” but once you climb the industrial looking flight of stairs and enter your private unit, you will be in awe of this lovely old refurbished water treatment plant.We will be visiting Carbondale sporadically while my daughter is there and will be very disappointed if I’m not able to rent the unit again at my next visit to town!
