Nice hotel in La Guaira. We had ocean view, but there is no direct access to the beach. The rooms are nice, very comfortable. The food was good as well. Just 20 minutes from Caracas.

Nice place. I felt comfortable and safe here. Good food service and very tasty. The staff is polite and friendly. They try to please you in every way. Thank you Yunelbi at the restaurant for making sure we got everything we needed. And Henry the manager for keeping an eye on detail.

The restaurant prices are extortionate but I think it’s a feature of Venezuela hotels. If there’s anything you can do for your bookings that would be a huge benefit to your customers and in the long term the hotel would benefit from more business

Mi estancia en el Marriott fue muy agradable en términos generales, pero quisiera hacer una observación que considero importante. Durante mi visita vi varios gatitos dentro de la propiedad, especialmente en las áreas cercanas al restaurante y jardines. Muchos de ellos parecían estar bastante delgados y necesitados de atención. En un principio me indicaron que no estaba permitido alimentarlos, aunque posteriormente me comentaron que podía hacerse en algunas zonas específicas. Entiendo que los hoteles deben mantener ciertas políticas operativas, pero considero que una cadena tan importante como Marriott podría implementar un programa de apoyo responsable para estos animales. Acciones sencillas como proporcionar alimento en áreas controladas, colaborar con asociaciones locales o promover campañas de esterilización podrían marcar una gran diferencia. Todos podemos aportar un poco para hacer del mundo un lugar mejor, y creo que una empresa con el alcance y prestigio de Marriott tiene una excelente oportunidad de liderar este tipo de iniciativas de bienestar animal. Agradezco la atención y espero que esta sugerencia pueda ser considerada en beneficio de los animales y de la comunidad.

Las habitaciones impecables, el personal de la recepción increíblemente amables, al igual que el personal del desayuno excepto la señorita que recibe a los huéspedes en el desayuno la cual fue pedante. El desayuno muy variado. El hotel es muy tranquilo sin ruido. Durante mi estancia no habían niños, las vistas muy hermosas de la playa. El área de la piscina es linda pero le faltan algunas cerámicas a la misma, deberían considerar la restauración. Volvería a quedarme aquí

Beautiful hotel, trouble with shuttle

Gorgeous place, big room, good bed, nice breakfast. Very disappointing shuttle service from the airport. Upon arriving at CCS I called the hotel for the shuttle, and was told that it wasn't included with my room. They said I needed to pay $25 USD. I was forced to take a taxi, but it was next-to-impossible to find cash. It cost 60,000 Bolivares and should normally only cost 5,000. (It's only about 7 minutes!) When I finally got to the hotel I showed them the reservation where it specifically says that the shuttle is included. They agreed to take me to the airport the next day, but then I was told I could only be transported at 11:00, 12:00, or 13:00. The area is dangerous. There is a nice bakery about a block away but only go there during the day. Don't carry any valuables with you.

The Hotel is not clear with the offers, they include or not the breakfast any time they want. I have to wait every morning for them to decide if they want to include my breakfast or not. I think they play with that to extra charges $$$ crazy. They need to learn more about hospitality.

Friendly staff

Hotel staff was very nice and accomodating. We needed an extra bed and after they told us they didn’t have any left, they got us one. Hotel is like any Marriott anywhere in the world, just friendlier people
