"This house is just a short walk to the beach, shops, grocery store and restaurants. The house is great. There are two other rentals on the property. I wish I had known that before renting. There were no issues, just would have liked to be informed. AC is only in the bedrooms. Also was surprised that we had an electricity usage limit. Any amount over and the funds were removed out of our deposit. We didn’t know that ahead of time. "

"Very nice, clean property—fully stocked with kitchen gadgets, plates, glasses, and cookware. It had everything we needed. The property had round-the-clock security with a gated entrance, and the gates were locked at night for beach access. We felt safe the entire time, and it was very quiet.The location was great—Tugboat Beach, excellent restaurants, and various activities were just minutes away. The Jan Thiel area, with its beach and restaurants, was only a five-minute drive.The leasing agent Kiarah was very responsive, super nice and gave great recommendations.We had questions about car rental, restuarants,diving. "The location couldn’t be better - directly on the beach! The ocean waves are just a few meters from the balcony. The beach is perfect and usually completely vacant. Snorkeling is amazing right off the shore in shallow water. We saw a whole variety of fish, sea urchins, coral, eels, crabs, etc. There are three restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend the gouda cheese balls from Brisa do Mar and the tuna from Villa Vis! You will definitely want to rent a car to explore the island. This apartment is near Jan Thiel with lots of shopping and amenities. The apartment is very clean and has everything you will need. There are three mini-split air conditioners that work well. Like most places, you have an energy allotment and will have to pay extra if you go over. We ran the master bedroom AC unit at 22 degrees for approximately 10 hours a day and were under the usage limit. Running both bedrooms all night would put you over the limit, but we didn’t use the bedroom with the twin beds (we were on our honeymoon!). This is a great value and much better than a large resort with rooms far from the beach. I would definitely stay here again and am recommending this VRBO to my friends and colleagues. "
