"The room had a dead bug in the restroom and wad of long hair in a clot on the floor. Of our 8 day stay, the cleaning staff only cleaned our room 3 nights, which I was not happy about. We gad to go to the front desk for towels and toilet paper, due to this. For the $2500 price tag, I would expect the service to be provided. Breakfast was decent; the menu only subtlety rotates, but it did have a decent variety. The grounds are dog friendly, which is an extra fee. The hotel doesn't enforce people clean up after their pets...ruins this accommodation for others. Front desk staff was friend."

"NO INTERNET in Room this is essential and despite there being some haphazard connection .25 miles away ruined our stay when keeping in touch with home and the outside world. Room was great but would not stay again due to technical issues. On arrival issue was thought to be a temporary issue but nobody had it. Red line crossed"

"We stayed here for a quick overnight trip and it was not the typical Holiday Inn Express we are accustomed too. Our room had a solid shade covering the window so no light could get through. The problem was the shade was motorized and it did not work so the shade was stuck in the down position. To get light in the room we had to roll it up from the bottom and used the hanger with clips to have natural light. Not the end of the world - the next morning was the issue. We went to breakfast one hour before they stopped serving and they were completely out of eggs, sausage gravy, sausage patties, and milk. Normally you see one or two staff members working the kitchen/dining areas but not here. There was no one to be found to even ask when the food was going to be replenished. The tables were dirty and the floors looked like they had not been mopped recently. It was a Saturday and they were busy, but seriously this is what they do. One of the main perks at a Holiday Inn Express is the breakfast and we were not in a position to wait however long it was going to take for them to sort out the food situation so we checked out and stopped for breakfast on our way out of town. We would not stay here again."
