The staff were amazing, the breakfast was wonderful and the rooms very clean and roomy. Close to a hop on bus stop and within a half hour walk of the V&A waterfront (not recommended when dark).

Very nice in a very nice area. Central so close to lots of places, even walkable if you feel safe enough walking at night in cape town. The breakfast is great, one of the best I have had but Cape Town standard is high and this was still good. They have a nice restaurant on site too. Very yummy food. My only downside is that our bathroom was very very tiny and sometimes the hallway and lift smelt of weed.

The hotel was excellent. Modern and clean. The staff were brilliant. Great views of Table Mountain. Great deck with views great food, wine and beer.

The property was nice. The area is not safe at night. If you drink martinis you won't find a green olive anywhere. They also didn't pick me up at the airport.

The property and staff were great - so helpful but like a lot of places you couldn’t walk at night. It is close to the v&a waterfront and the city bus stops right around the corner - stop 3 on red route. Ubers are reasonable so no problem getting around

The coffee shop downstairs is great- MRKT. The hotel is super clean. The studio we had was massive and super clean and comfortable for 2 people. The pool area is a bit small, but it is nice, but by the afternoon the sun goes. The hotel is modern. I would definitely stay here again. Uber comes very quick. Use the main roads when walking in the day, we walked to the waterfront in the day time. Never walk at night. The staff are so helpful.

Its a good area. Was at cape town for a work conference. Love the pool and the friendly people working in the hotel. Good bar area too. I definitely enjoyed my stay. Its near V&A and its only 5-10mins uber ride. They have good restaurants from MKT and Yu.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Onyx. The room was modern and spacious with good amenities - particularly the large fridge/freezer! It would have been useful to have a few more powerpoints/universal adaptors, like most other hotels we have stayed in. Staff were friendly and helped us with dinner reservations. Housekeeping cleaned our dishes for us, however the only negative was that they did not replace our coffee and between having one in the afternoon and wanting another in the morning; we didn’t have enough. Our room was located 2 floors above the bar and the first night it was rather noisy. The information provided told us the bar would close after 10 however there was still noise. Walls between rooms must also be thin and we had some loud neighbours.

A nice Apartment Hotel in Cape Town
The hotel is easy access to CTCC and to all other major attractions as as Table Mountains, Waterfront, Museum and beautiful - the Company Gardens. The room was very wide with living, dinning, kitchen, bedroom and nice bathroom. It was clean, safe, and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a variety of choices. The service was excellent. I had nice time for 6 nights.

Overall, I was happy staying here. The staff and management were very friendly and helpful. Both restaurants in the hotel were good with friendly staff. There aren't a lot of restaurants in walking distance but travel is easy. The Waterfront area is within walking distance and offers good shopping and eateries. Safety around the area is OK but you probably need to be in after dark.

A great stay for conference attendance about 50m from the CTICC door. Friendly staff, very clean and a great restaurant for dinner and cafe for breakfast downstairs. Large apartment with lots of space and room to self cater.
