"Cambridge Cottage" is the perfect location for your Cape May Point get away. Come and see why Cape May Point is the county's best kept secret. Less crowded and noisy than the city, it is a quick walk to beautiful ocean beaches, bike riding, nature trails and it has a park and lake down the street. It is peaceful, with little traffic and very walkable.A couple of blocks away is the new Cape May Point Science Center housed in the historic St Mary's and offering interesting programs from all ages.

The cottage retains it's original classic 1940s charm with all the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable and relaxing- central A/C, ceiling fans, fully heated for colder days, high speed internet, brand new 40" smart tv with cable channels, open kitchen/dining room with newer appliances, new sectional and sofa, there is 1 walk in indoor shower and a second large outdoor shower with attached changing area (hot and cold water), BBQ and outdoor table are right outside the kitchen which makes outdoor meals convenient.

You have your own private house and backyard that is all yours and not shared with another unit. It is light and airy and provides everything for a comfortable, enjoyable vacation. The cottage has a driveway that provides off street parking for 3 cars and there is additional street parking, if needed.

A master with queen bed, a second bedroom with a full and a third bedroom with a bunk bed. There is a large bathroom with a double sink, shower and toilet. The second bathroom has a toilet, sink and washer and dryer. Board games and cards for indoor fun. Beach umbrella, chairs and 6 beach tags are provided for your stay.

Great, central location- a few blocks walk in either direction brings you to beautiful beaches and sunsets, village green/park area, bird sanctuary, lighthouse and Lake Lilly. Cape May Point is known for it's spectacular sunsets, spacious beaches and excellent viewing of birds and monarch butterflies. It is truly a nature lover's paradise.

April getaway

Cambridge Cottage is very comfortable, clean, and close to everything as advertised. The owner is readily available for questions. Loved the quiet walkable neighborhood with 5 minutes walk to Lake Lily, the ocean with many access areas, and Cape May Lighthouse.

Refreshing, Comfortable, and Clean Cottage for 3 Adults

Really liked the layout of the cottage as-well-as the long dining table where we played games. Beach umbrella came in handy on sunny days. Very close to the State Park and beach, and not too far from the town. Neighborhood is a nice area for a walk. Communication with Sarah was great!

Magical Cambridge Cottage in Cape May Point!

The Cambridge Cottage has been our home away from home for multiple years now. It is our favorite place to stay, and we look forward to returning every year! Sarah is a wonderful and super responsive host. The Cottage is in an unbeatable location close to the beach, Lake Lily, and the Lighthouse! The Cottage has a wonderful outdoor space, and is super welcoming and comfortable. Plenty of space to spend nights together as a family. House is clean and tidy and stocked with books and games to enjoy. We look forward to many more years at the Cambridge Cottage!

Just what we needed

Cambridge Cottage is located in the heart of Cape May Point, easy walking distance to the beach, the lighthouse, and Lilly Lake. The property itself is very nicely designed for relaxation and conversation with a spacious living room, welcoming dining room, and upgraded kitchen. The owners were courteous, responsive, and even allowed my wife and I to stay extra time while I waited for a jump for my car battery. If you want a peaceful beach stay at Cape May, it would be hard to find a better spot.

Comfortable Quiet Cottage Near the Sea

We stayed six nights the week after Labor Day. The cottage was ideally located about a 3 minute walk to the uncrowded Cape May Point beach, and about a 4 minute walk to the lighthouse/Cape May State Park walking trails. It's a beautiful neighborhood for cycling and a short ride to the cafe and shops at Sunset Beach. The cottage has generous living room and dining room seating. The kitchen is well equipped. We appreciated the double sink in the upstairs bathroom and the comfortable queen bed in the primary bedroom. The outdoor enclosed shower was a welcome option when returning from the beach. Sarah our host, was friendly and responded immediately to the questions that we asked. I would book here again.

Quiet and walkable to beach, lake

We came for the cape may bird migration fest and the Point is closer to where we were going to be. It’s nice and quiet, driveway parking, and minutes away from lake and beach. It’s a very cute place, very old and reminiscent of going to the shore with past generations when life was simpler. We found the beds to be uncomfortable and flimsy. Better beds with new mattresses would really improve the experience. I’d prefer not to have to bring my own sheets and towels but that’s just a personal preference. Driving to downtown is certainly easy enough but parking was difficult to find in the evenings.

Idyllic

We love the cottage; it is spacious and comfortable. In the morning, the sun streams into the living room creating a golden glow that provides a sense of peace and serenity. In the evening, the same room is bathed in the rosy sheen of a leisurely sunset exactly right for the enjoyment of a glass of wine or cocktail . The sizeable kitchen is equipped with all that you need to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner or a midnight snack. The laundry room slash bathroom is conveniently located right off of the kitchen; it boasts a top of the line all in one washer dryer. The dining room comfortably seats six, the master bedroom is charming and cozy as is the second bedroom, and the third bedroom has bunkbeds that can accommodate small children and teens alike. The spacious yard has a large grill and picnic table exactly right for a pleasant evening cookout with friends and family. We love luxurious bathhouses like outdoor shower! We hope to make this our last hurrah of summer for years to come.

Perfectly located small cottage / house just blocks from the beach. Had the best of times staying at The Point. Just amazing sitting on front porch in the morning having coffee and saying hi to everyone walking by with their dogs. House is well equipped, has great AC. We've stayed in Cape May proper before and this is quieter and more relaxing. Beach is perfect and relaxing. Cannot wait to go back

Perfect July 4th week!

The house was comfortable and we had everything we needed for a fabulous beach week. We loved the easy walk to the beach and all beach gear provided… access to nearby running and walking nature trails… short jaunt to Sunset beach, the Lighthouse and park, wineries, and incredible restaurants. The weather was perfect as were our accommodations!
