"Property is pretty run down, fly screens broken, windows rotting wood, aircon filter was full of mould and wouldn't turn on. Water pump was off, we had to find it to access water. Positives, sheets were clean, water views were stunning. "

"We had a lovely stay at Shearwater, it's a beautiful property and is well fitted out with everything you need. Safe and fun for kids, too, with a fence on the stairs and toys that our toddler loved rummaging in. We loved the area and want to go back because there is so much to see. The house was a bit more drive in and out, but probably more accessible walking if you're with mostly adults or older kids. We were there in winter so a lot was closed for the season, but we didn't mind, we were looking for a getaway and lots of puzzles and Catan rounds by the fire were enjoyed after windy beach walks.
