Park Place - Comfy Condo Close to Beach

Located a short walk from Kiptopeke State Park, 7 miles from the historic town of Cape Charles, and 3 miles from one of the modern wonders of the world—the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel—Park Place offers the comforts of home and a convenient location for easy day trips to Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, and Chincoteague.
Park Place has been recently renovated by the new owners and shows pride of ownership. The living room comfortably seats six, and all can enjoy the large flat-screen TV offering a cable package that includes MLB. The dining area is spacious with seating for six, and the fully equipped kitchen completes the open-concept living area so you're never cut off from the rest of the family.
There are two first-floor bedrooms and one full bath, making it convenient for elderly guests and small children to maneuver.
Upstairs is the ultimate master bedroom suite, offering a king-size bed, master bathroom with jetted tub, separate shower, and dual sinks. A private balcony awaits you. To improve your stay, in addition to central air, the owners have installed a free-standing A/C unit to optimize your comfort in the master bedroom.
The community has a boat storage area, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition to Kiptopeke State Park—with its beach, boat ramp, fishing pier, and walking trails—the close proximity to Cape Charles offers a wonderful public beach, restaurants, shopping, jet ski rentals, theater, library, ice cream shops, gourmet food stores, and specialty boutiques. Artists abound on the Shore, and their work is amazing.
Charter fishing, kayak lessons and tours, and eco-tours are available to explore the Shore.
Bed linens and bath towels are provided, along with a starter pack of essentials including toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent to help you settle in comfortably.

Home away from home

We’re extremely satisfied . Place is very clean, spacious , well stocked and really close to Kiptopeke State park. Neighbours were very friendly as well which is a big bonus. Looking forward to stay again on our next visit. I would highly recommend this place.

Park Place #1 - Great Visit

Kathy's Park Place home away from home was as expected. So much to offer and do right at the house such as games, tv, bikes, beach chairs, corn hole... it was perfect for the kids and adults. Set up exactly as home would be to help enjoy all of the weather conditions.

Great location if you are a fisherman

Nice town house. Well stocked with everything needed. good boat parking. 1 mile to boat ramp at Kiptopeake. Nice neighbors! Had a couple small issues that the prop manager resolved quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

The place was very nice. Somewhat clean. There were cobwebs on the windows and the ceiling fan paddles were full of dust All in all it was a nice place.

Great location

Location, Location and Location!!! We didn't even have to drive for the ocean. There were lots of spider webs out on the door to deck and lower level patio door, but other than that, this property was great. it was easy to contact the management and they took care of it right away. look forward to stay at this again

Beautiful Condo and location.

We are all retired, and made the trip as a spring vacation. Perfect location, condo, and neighborhood. We had a great time and enjoyed Cape Charles , Vergina.

park place stay

It was easy renting but when checking in key was not in slot and had to ride into cape Charles to find realities. Called twice and never got return phone call till after 530 Check in time was 4 House was just as explained and loved it since we were in it. Cape Charles was great and beautiful

Great family spot

Our family really enjoyed this rental! We have 3 young kids and it was a perfect location just outside the state park entrance. We biked into the park to the beach everyday using the rental’s two adult bikes. If you plan to cook every dinner at the house just be prepared to bring everything you need minus pots/pans/bowls (tin foil, butter, olive oil etc). And beware: after I started the oven I realized there were 5 pans and pots stored in there! So glad we didn’t have melted pan handles and I had to make room for everything on the counter in a hurry!

Biking and birding trip

We three semi-retired ladies enjoyed a relaxing weekend birding, including the hawkwatch platform, and biking in the charity ride. The property was very conveniently located.

Cape Charles family vacation

We had an excellent stay with our family at park place! The quiet friendly neighborhood and quick easy access to the beach/pier make it a perfect location. We loved that the kitchen was fully stocked for preparing meals including a grill and the entertainment options from TV, poker, to corn hole. Our family took advantage of the bicycles the owner leaves in the garage along with beach chairs. Plenty of clean towels and absolutely loved having the option of doing laundry on site. All in all we were all very pleased with our stay.

Amazing vacation

We had a fabulous time during our stay! The house is wonderful. It had everything we needed and more. Close to Cape Charles and the Kiptopeke State Park was wonderful. The only thing that I would say is that the town closes up early which we aren't used to but it was so much fun. We will definitely be back.

Girls Trip

Picked this property for an extended weekend trip and it did not disappoint! The layout of the house was perfect. The home was clean and had everything that was needed. Location is right next to the state park. It's a short drive to town. Beds were very comfortable. I'm already planning a return trip.

Family friendly, safe and enjoyable location

We enjoyed our stay. The property is in great shape. Plenty of room, board games, dishes, utensils etc. Owner has done a wonderful job opening everything for the guests, like grill, beach chairs etc. We really appreciated that. Some of the exterior spots need cleaning e.g. Patio, but inside was great.Thank you!

Super nice condo near the state park

This condo was very clean, nicely decorated and in a great location near the State Park. It had everything you could possibly need for your vacation. My grandchildren loved riding the bikes. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent close getaway

Communication with the property manager was pretty smooth. Answered questions, including one in regards to internet access in the evening. Property itself had plenty of room.

Comfortable getaway.

Our family has found the place for vacationing. We loved the area where the condo is located. Just a few minutes drive from the state park with beautiful beaches, we clean sand and water that is very calm, great for little children. Also a short drive away from Cape Charles town which also has a nice white sand beach. We did not spend much time there because of Covid and being off season but there were a few restaurants, ice cream place, park, playground. The condo was better than expected and had everything you could possibly need, kitchen well equipped and comfortable beds, tvs in every room, cable and internet, two adult bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, some board games and puzzles as well. The neighborhood community was also very friendly and helpful. Our family had a great time and our children loved the place as well. It was very clean and well maintained for most part. We did find lots of small spiders and bugs. The back porch was not usable because it was full of spiderwebs, spiders and insects. The property manager was very responsive to our requests and very friendly. In general, our family had a great time, our little kids enjoyed the condo, the community and the beach. We would definitely come back again next year and would recommend this place.
