The property is in a great location in walking distance to Monpazier. The pool area was very impressive, with a well equipped outdoor kitchen and BBQ. The pool itself is huge, in fact bigger when seeing in person compared with the photos online.

Beautiful French Home

This is a superb and well cared for property. The pool is fantastic and everything in the house is clean and well maintained. It is just over a km into Monpazier and an easy walk for morning bread or afternoon drinks. Very private. Highly recommended and our family, from ages 7 to 80 loved it.

Lovely villa, pool & gardens

Lovely villa in nice quiet location, 1K from Monpazier. Monpazier has lots of nice restaurants & is a lovely place to wander around. Really nice pool at the villa, larger than most pools we have had in France. Sylvain greeted us on arrival with wine, bread & saucisson and was very helpful. Well equipped villa, everything we could need for a relaxing holiday.

Just Beautiful

Beautiful house set in beautiful massive grounds. Communication with owner was smooth& Sylvain who met us gave a fantastic warm welcome. Well equipped kitchen and excellent outdoor cooking area by the pool. Table tennis, table football was appreciated by the kids and we enjoyed playing pentanque in the evenings. Easy walk to Monpazier centre and well located for day trips. We fell in love with the area and look forward to returning.

Spacious Dordogne property

Overall really great property - excellent swimming pool, BBQ area and spacious bedrooms. Lots of privacy afforded by extensive grounds. House was well-equipped throughout and made for a very comfortable stay. Very helpful agent who checked us in/out. About 15 min walk into the village which offered plenty restaurants. One minor gripe - there was a fairly high charge for linen/towels which we felt were rather poor quality and could do with upgrading to justify the fee.

Lovely surroundings and amazing pool

We had a lovely stay here, the house is big and well equipped. It’s located on the outskirts of the village which was only a 15/20minute walk away. The village has nice shops, bars etc. There are plenty of areas to sit out in the sun and you can get in the sun all day if you wanted. The outdoor kitchen/pool area is second to non! The only downside to the house that I feel let it down was its cleanliness/ maintenance of the house. The travel cot and high chair were stored in the basement and needed a good wipe over before use as it looked like it had been in there a while. The first couple of nights we were getting bitten only at bed time and decided to wash the bedsheets on a hot wash and we gave the bed and bedroom a good clean and didn’t have a bad night after that. We paid 25€ each for linen & towels (1 bath & 1 hand towel each & a wash mitt). All were in poor condition. Towels were old & stained, bed linen was bobbled & low quality. It's a lovely house let down by poor cleanliness - kitchen cupboards & drawers, mouldy shower tray/door and sofa.

This is a wonderful spacious house in a fantastic location. The pictures really do not do it justice. The pool was so clean an amazing size, we spent hours in it come rain or shine! The house is less than a 15 minute easy walk into Monpazier which has multiple restaurants, shops and a choice of 2 bakeries! The house is on a quiet cul de sac. The basement with the table tennis and table football was a real bonus. The kitchen is very well equipped and all the bedrooms are very spacious. We can not recommend this property enough!

Amazing location & fabulous pool

We had a lovely relaxing week at this beautiful property. With the pool, gardens and games room there is plenty to keep occupied at the house so we only made a few excursions. Being able to walk into Monpazier is such a benefit of the location - lovely market, restaurants and ice cream shop! Sylvain was quick to answer any questions and gave a good friendly welcome. We were just one family but there is plenty of space and equipment for 2. Thanks for a relaxing holiday

Great house and fabulous pool close to town

Spacious house in wonderful grounds with a fantastic 14m heated pool. Incredibly well equipped throughout. Possibility to walk into Monpazier but the uphill back in the height of summer may put some off. 2 bikes available as an alternative, though, which is a nice touch. Friendly and responsive owners and property manager. Photos don’t do the property justice and I wouldn’t hesitate in returning if in the area again.

Juste Waouwww, nous avons loué cette propriété pour un team building et nous avons été plus que ravi de notre séjour dans cette propriété. A 8 dans cette demeure, personne ne s'est marché sur les pieds, les 3 salles de bains et les ' chambres spacieuses permettent un séjour relaxant. Le parc est apaisant, les équipements permettent de ne jamais s'ennuyer en restant à la maison (volley, pétanque, ping-pong, piscine). Les équipements de la maison sont parfaits, la literie est super confortable, les pièces de vie sont super agréables et les équipements de la cuisine et de la cuisine d'extérieur permettent de se concocter de bons petits plats avec les bons produits régionaux. La propriété est idéalement située pour permettre la visite de superbes sites historiques. Les bonnes adresses conseillées par le propriétaire nous ont permis directement de faire la connaissance de personnes d'exception de la région. Tout le monde est partant pour se refaire un nouveau séjour l'année prochaine.

Séjour très agréable mais...

... on remarque que la maison est louée depuis peu car il manque bcp de choses utiles au quotidien : plats de service, service à café, couverts de service. Il n'y a pas assez de linge de maison, il faudrait doubler tous les sets afin d'éviter la course le samedi entre 2 locations... La pauvre femme de ménage a dû nous rapporter les draps propres à peine secs le samedi à 21h ! Il faudrait également au moins 2 trousseaux de clés car la maison est grande et parfois les occupants ne font pas les mêmes activités et doivent donc être autonomes les uns des autres. Aussi, je vous recommande d'être plus clair sur l'annonce sur la présence de l'antenne-relais, cela ne nous a pas dérangé mais pourrait causer des litiges avec des locataires plus pointilleux (notamment avec des enfants) !! Mention spéciale à la localisation, vraiment tout près de Monpazier, et à Sylvain, amical et très disponible. Bien cordialement, Charles PELISSIER
