The famous Lucchese villas, such as Villa Reale, Villa Torrigiani, and Villa Mansi, are easily reachable on foot or by bicycle. Local restaurants offer typical dishes like tordelli lucchesi and rovelline. The village of Montecarlo is nearby, and you can easily reach the Versilia coast or explore Garfagnana, known for its nature and characteristic villages.
