Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort

10/10 Excellent

"I really liked all the pools and the food and drinks at the pools. I felt like I never had to leave and could stay all day at the resort. It had about 6-7 pools, but one main big pool area had a kids slide, which my son loved. The rooms were spacious and cleaned every day. They were really flexible with check in and check out and were on top of all of or needs. I stayed for 6 days but could have spent two weeks here. One of my favorite hotels that I have ever stayed at. The only negative thing I can say is that for such a large resort and that many pools, they should add a kiddie pool area and way more slides. They definitely have the space for it and would attract more people."

"The room was clean and nice. However there is not very many handicapped parking places, there was a lot of construction making it hard to relax the construction started at 6 am making it hard to sleep in and relax. The pool and lazy river was nice. The signs around the complex were not very clear directing one to the amenities."

"Staff were great. Hotel was very clean and plenty of nice space to walk with dog. The bad is the locks. I will never stay here again just for that. I had to swipe atleast 10 times for door to open if it even did. Most times I had to walk to lobby to get new key. the worse part is that it is 100 degrees outsdide and I have a 100 lb dog. Twice I got stuck outside with her in the heat and had to frantically pound on door until a guest that could hear me let us in. I was really worried and stressed the one time. The front desk person was very nice and I can tell she has to deal with complaints all the time. but this is more than an inconvenience. It is a safety hazard and my dog could have had a heat stroke and died. I stayed at La Quinta before and like it for your pet friendliness and cleanliness. But after this stay I will look elsewhere."

"We’ve stayed here 3x so far and will always come back. Very nice clean area, the hotel is very clean. The rooms are nice and spacious. We’ve stayed in both the one bedroom and 2 bedroom suites. Love that breakfast is included and it is actually a very filling breakfast. Weekends you get bacon as your meat and the rest of the week it’s turkey sausage or chorizo sometimes both. You have a variety of breads and juices to choose from. Happy hour is 5-6 pm everyday, chips, salsa and dip are provided. You get free drinks which include an alcoholic beverage. The staff are all very friendly and helpful!"
