Yes, this home is small, but perfect for one or two people. The roof top has such a beautiful view of the lake. Friends had another unit and it was so convenient to walk around the lake area. Our group that often travels to this area will be back!
Great neighborhood, comfortable shipping container home, quiet lakeside setting. Easy access to Whitewater for weekend concert. Lots of deer in the area after dark.
My husband and I were able to escape the kids and enjoy a night away to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. It was very relaxing, quiet, and cozy. We enjoyed watching the sun set and stargazing from the rooftop. We also appreciated being able to relax inside with some tv (finally being able to watch something other than kid shows). The coffee bar was a plus! There’s nice additions you can add before your visit to make it even more relaxing and romantic. The owners had great communication and you can tell they take pride in their property. We truly enjoyed our trip and would love to come back for another stay. 10/10 recommend!
This was perfect for what I needed after 8 straight days of work travel ending in San Antonio.
The extra two days I took to relax in Canyon Lake was needed and ended up being the perfect spot to set out on exploring the region more than. I had a chance on past visits.
The house was exactly as advertised and could not have suited my visit any better. Canyon Lake is very nearby, restaurants and shops included. It provided everything I needed and I could see myself staying there for a week as base camp. The sitting area on top of the house was awesome - spent several hours at night up there. The microwave, fridge, shower, bed and TV were all I needed to have a good and comfortable stay
I found two small Texas towns that I wanted to visit off the beaten path - each about 2 hours away. Those little adventures were better than I had even planned or imagined.
The communication were easy and accurate and Information for things to do was already provided for those that might want to fill their time if not planned out already.
I have told many about this trip and property and everyone thought it was cool just as I did. When I come back out that way / this is the first okay I will look to see if it is available.
Don’t think because it is a container home that it is not comfortable or doesn’t have what you need - it does!
Highly recommend as a base camp for all your Hill Country adventures, including the Tejas Rodeo nearby as well! Thank you for making this available.
We appreciated the well-thought-out messages from the hosts; they made check-in and check-out a breeze as well as the duration of our stay. The rooftop deck was enjoyable during the day and night, especially at night for stargazing. We appreciated the peaceful quiet. We would definitely stay again.
Super cozy place. We stayed one night because we went to a concert at the Whitewater Amphitheater. This little gem was only 20 minutes from the venue and made it easy to Uber and we drank like sailors! If I had one gripe; install a hand held shower head! But other than that this place rocks!!!!!
