The property was in an extremely convenient location. The property was clean and cozy. The back yard made it really easy for our pets. The property owners are very responsive. I appreciated the binder with restaurant and other locations to visit such as the Creek House Honey Farm and the Lumber Yard.
Great property! Literally down the street from palo duro canyon state park and minutes from gas, groceries and great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again and the fenced in yard was perfect for the dog
Had a wonderful stay. Only 10 minutes from the Canyon State Park and even less to town in case you needed anything you might have forgotten. Very quaint and had everything we needed to cook meals for breakfast and dinner
Cozy, attractive cottage 10 miles from the canyon.
Don’t be fooled by the exterior - this home is comfy, nicely furnished and decorated. We were just passing through with a stop at the Palo Duro Canyon on way to Ft. Worth. A perfect mid-point stop from the Denver area.
We stayed at this property for two nights while in Texas to visit certain sites. It is nicely appointed in country farm decor. It was clean, bright and comfortable. The kitchen is adequately furnished.
My son and I were traveling between San Antonio and Colorado Springs and looking for a place about halfway. Usually we stay in Amarillo. But this location was so much better. Close to Canyon and Palo Duro, and still not so far from Amarillo. Highly recommend.
We are on a 5 week camper van trip, and this was our only stop where we didn’t stay in our van. It was so nice to have space to move, a kitchen, washer dryer and fenced yard for the dogs. Super close to hike Palo Duro and we did a little shopping in town. Enjoyed a couple local restaurants too! The owner communicated well during unusual windstorms and aftereffects.
A WOWZER of a trip and stay. The Blue Color is a sure giveaway when arriving and arrival instructions were perfect. Such a homey decor with two beautiful bedrooms. House reminded me of grandparents house and just felt RIGHT. We were there to enjoy the Canyon, but that was only a couple of hours, so we enjoyed a relaxing time. It is on a highway, but minimal noise which was great. Strongly recommend this beautiful house if visiting the Canyon, TX area
Such a great stay for Canyon, I loved this location! The bedrooms and living room were so comfortable it made me wish I had more time to spend time in the home. :)
The location of this home was ideal for our trip. We were in town for a family reunion near Wayside and Happy, and this property made it easy to get to those small towns, Amarillo, Canyon, and Palo Duro State Park.We arrived around 10:30 PM and were initially surprised by the exterior of the house—it’s small and definitely in need of fresh paint. However, once we stepped inside, we found a cozy, clean, and inviting cottage-style home that felt comfortable right away.We did have an issue with the water not working late the night we arrived, but the owners were extremely responsive and came right over to fix it, which we really appreciated. We also loved exploring the area! Highly recommend The Ranch House Café in Canyon, The Sad Monkey Mercantile on the way to Palo Duro, and Honey Buzz Winery for its mead and charming gift shop.Overall, while the exterior could use some updates, the location, comfort, and attentiveness of the hosts make this a great home base for exploring the region.
This home is located close to my family in Canyon and not too far from my mom in Amarillo. It’s on a busy road but is quiet with a fenced in yard and deck. Great place for my 2 dogs. The host communicates in a timely way. I recommend booking this home.Mike Robinson
This cute house was comfortable and cozy! Beds were so comfortable giving us a good rest before long hikes in Palo Duro Canyon. I didn’t read the listing close enough and didn’t bring soap or shampoo. Oops. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils allowing us to prepare our own meals. I would def recommend!!

Great Location
The location was perfect for our stay. We were in the middle of PDCSP and Canyon, so that was great. After a long day of hiking all I wanted to do was relax and watch some March Madness basketball but we couId not get the Wi-Fi to connect at all. All we were told was to restart the router but that never worked. Other than the Wi-Fi the stay was nice.
