Perfect Getaway House in Canyon

As advertised, the property was just minutes from the entrance to Palo Duro Canyon state park. It was also just a short drive to Amarillo. The house was very comfortable and well maintained. We would happily stay there again.

A comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We loved the location and the neighbors giving us a family friendly welcome. Perfect set up for our four GrandGifts, us, and our daughter and son-in-law. The kitchen was easy to work in and thanks for the use of the garage. Steph responded quickly.

We enjoyed our stay here! The house is close to Palo Duro Canyon (which was why we were visiting) and convenient to Amarillo as well. Clean, spacious, easy to communicate with host, and the kitchen has most everything you need. Only negative comments are that the kitchen cabinets bang shut and can be heard in the bedrooms - disturbing other guests. Would recommend some felt stoppers to soften the sound.

Great visit with grandpa

Stayed here last year on a visit to see family. Big enough for our family and was a comfy home away from home again. Only wish was for measuring cups when cooking in kitchen. No other complaints. Plenty of towels for all the kids and just enough cups, bowls, and plates for meals at the house. Look forward to next summer visit.

Perfect Spot to visit the Canyon

6 of us went to Palo Duro to visit for a quick wheeling and hiking trip. The wind was crazy, so no hiking occurred :(. The shining spot, was the house! Everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and essentials, the beds were comfortable and rooms spacious. Our host was amazing! She communicated well, was prompt and the home was as listed. We will return on our next trip to hike the canyon!

A Comfortable Stay in a Quiet Neighborhood

We recently stayed at this VRBO home while moving our daughter back into college for the fall semester, and it was an excellent experience. The location was very convenient, just a short drive from the university, which made everything so much easier. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, providing a nice retreat after our busy days. The home itself was comfortable and welcoming, with all the amenities we needed. While the beds were a bit firmer than we're used to, they were still comfortable and we slept well. Our host was friendly and readily available for any questions or needs we had during our stay, which we really appreciated. We felt well taken care of, and it added to the positive experience. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant place to stay, and we’ll definitely choose this home again for future visits. Highly recommended!
