The hotel is beautiful over look the lake with mountains surrounding it. We stay at the room wit a balcony over looking the beautiful view of the lake as well as the Spiez castle. The hotel also offer a free shuttle form and to the airport which was very helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only thing i was uncomfortable with is the very thin pillow which what i’ve always have a problem with. The bed was very soft but for someone like me with a back problem this was painful. Asides of that everything else was wonderful. Though there’s not much to see, but i would still recommend it. As it will be a resfehing and calming holiday.

Thank you so much for a pleasant stay.
Loved this hotel and it was such a shame that we were here for just one night. I'd return to Spiez just to stay at this hotel again. Beautiful property located in a beautiful location. Staff was amazing, friendly, and so accommodating. We had to catch an early train and they packed breakfast for us to eat on the train. The dry sauna overlooking the lake was so dreamy. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay.

Don't rely on Google maps for availability - this hotel didn't show up as having availability on good maps but did show up on Expedia. Very nice but small room, great bathroom / shower, comfortable bed, sauna spa, amazing rooftop area, great bar and really nice people at the front desk (Danke Shöen Saskia for being amazing). Parking is available and close. Would highly recommend at the price point (which is expensive but reasonable for Switz). I had initially wanted to stay in Lauterbrunnen but "settled" for Spiez...of you have a car I'd almost recommend to stay here instead of LB.

The Belvedere offers 5 star quality and amenities for a 3 star price. The spa options are varied and wonderful. Afternoon tea was lovely with the cheesecake our favorite. Service was friendly and accommodating. Dining options were excellent. There’s no need to stay in less gracious and more expensive places in Interlaken when the Belvedere is a short train ride away in Spiez.
