Holiday Homes in Canton

This 19th century country house located in beautiful New England countryside. You need to be reasonably fit as there are no lifts, but staff are very helpful. The house has been maintained to reflect the character of that period bot with 20/21st century facilities. Rooms are a reasonable size with 4 poster beds. Breakfast is a feature of meeting other guests around the lounge while relaxing and enjoying a very good 'Continental' buffet. The restaurant is in house, but ran separate to the hotel...

Clean and as expected. No night time noise policy - so was bit noisy. No electric vehicle charging and they use disposable cutlery and plates, so not environmentally responsible..

Staff great

The packing space is always available whenever we arrived at the hotel and it’s free. The staff are very friendly and quick to help when in need. Also there are always coffee and tea available at the lobby. The only thing which is not very good is the old air conditioner system, too noisy.

Great stopover on leaf peepers road trip. Room with lots of character , roomy and comfortsble

The service and amenities in this hotel are nothing short of spectacular. Best hotel we have stayed in. The service was amazing.

Having driven for several hours from Vermont to Connecticut in torential rain we were very relived to arrive at the DoubleTree in Bristol. The room was spacious and clean and very well appointed. We ordered room service, which was promptly delivered and the food was excellent. The next morning we enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant before seamless checkout. If we find ourselves in Connecticut again then DoubleTree Bristol is where we will be staying.

One of the best motels we have stayed in & we have stayed in a lot. Immaculate & excellent value 👏
