Best run B&B in the UK
Yorke Lodge is one of my favorite places to stay and should be nominated for best run B&B in the country. It is immaculately clean, the rooms are beautiful and feel luxurious, and the beds/bedding are super comfortable. The breakfast room is a pleasure to sit in and the breakfast is top notch. The location is also perfect - just a short pleasant walk to the town centre and all its sights, not to mention great places to eat like The Monument pub. I’m always happy to be returning to Yorke Lodge

Highly recommend
A great place to stay. We were upgraded to a premium room, which was brilliant. The large room was absolutely spotless. Fantastic breakfast and a lovely, friendly staff. I highly recommend it if you are looking for excellent accommodation in Canterbury.

Yorke Lodge is a lovely B&B just afee blocks outside the old gates of Canterbury. Hostess was very helpful. Rooms and property was immaculately clean. Breakfast was wonderful. It is located on London Road which is convenient to walk to old town but can be a bit busy so be careful pulling out of lodge. Free street parking right outside lodge. Definitely recommend Yorke Lodge for your travels.

Charming Accomodation
Room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. Host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delightful. No heat and serve here but freshly cooked eggs, ham, good fresh fruit, toast, juices, and an assortment of cereals. Outstanding in every way.

Very nice hotel, good bed and pillows, downside I was in the top floor room facing main road which was very noisy until early hours and then again at 5.00am, a rear room would have been perfect.

Great place to stay
We had a fantastic stay at Yorke Lodge. Everything was spotlessly clean in the toom and bathroom. Unusually for many places, the bed was super comfortable - a great relief! Beautiful cotton bedding and an air con unit meant that in the current unexpected heatwave we were cool and comfortable. The welcome and ongoing service was really personable and helpful. There was a useful folder in the room with local info etc Breakfast was absolutely delicious - we could not fault anything. Fresh fruit, yoghurts and juice, full English and other choices, tea and coffee. In all, a great place to stay, with lots to do in surrounding area and some lovely eating places.

This was my second visit to the Yorke Lodge, and it is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Canterbury or any other beautiful cities around Kent. There is a bus stop right down the road, and a train station very close by. Vicky and staff are helpful and friendly with recommendations and suggestions for a wonderful stay. Plus, breakfast is included and the croissants are the best I've ever had. My 17 year old daughter fell in love with the dog that lives at the lodge, as well as the comfy bed with down pillows and comforter. The room is beautiful and includes a lovely tea tray for a lovely touch to make you feel at home. We will be back again...hopefully as soon as next year. =)
