A lovely property in a secluded part of the Royal golf course. Suites were perfect- clean, comfortable and well appointed. The pool was great and the location calm and relaxing. Service in the restaurant (due to one particular member of staff) was poor but it’s apparently owned by another company. Breakfast was ok but could have been much better. Despite this, I’d definitely stay again.

French “service” at its worst!
French “service” at its absolute worst ! This place is a disaster!. The attitude from the reception/ manager from the moment of arrival was pretty much “why are you here inconveniencing us?!” Have stayed here 3 times and will not again. When we arrived it was made very obvious that we were nothing more than an inconvenience. The breakfast service was poor and very unwelcoming too. (The quality of food is not great. And the breakfast room is a bit of a zoo - the dining room is too small for the number of patrons). Perhaps consider retraining all your staff?

Great place in Cannes... away from Cannes
This was the perfect stay during the Lions festival, far away from noisy Cannes. The comfort, service and great food compensated by far the 30' drive to la Croisette. This place is a hidden gem!

When we arrived and asked about our half board package the evening stafff seemed to have no idea and we had to pay for our first meal. They informed us that the half board package was lunch not dinner. It was rectified the next day and we found out that we could have dinner but did spoil our arrival somewhat. Otherwise a relaxing place to stay .

Good quality but remote apartment.
Booked on Expedia website that describes it as a hotel, but this is not accurate.After booking & paying it was only when I read the small print that if you arrive after 8 PM you have to inform them in advance so that they can pre-arrange for you to gain an access code for the automatic main entrance gate and they then tape your room key in an envelope on your room door, this is not very good as there are 3 buildings to choose from and was very confusing when arriving in the dark,it seems that they are trying to save money by not manning the reception 24/7, however the room was very spacious with top quality bedding & excellent towels.The pool area was very peaceful and the water a good temperature. Breakfast was 15 euros & the bacon was broiled also they didn't have sausages on the menu, the evening meal outside under the pergola was very nice and cost 95 euros for 3 people including drinks. Car parking was quite awkward due to the angle of the main access gate. If visiting the area again I would stay in Cannes as you would not have to hire a car.

An oasis of calm near Cannes
We chose this hotel because all the other hotels were full in Cannes for one of the festivals. Last year we had a horrible experience with accommodation so we wanted quiet and comfort and le Mas du grand vallon was perfect. Crickets and frogs at night are the only noise you will have to contend with. The pool is good for splashing in or doing early morning lengths. Buffet breakfast has lots of variety and staff are kind, cheerful and accommodating. The dinner menu could have more choice and after 3 nights you will want to try somewhere else. The cost of the hotel is reasonable too. I had a large studio and the beds are beautifully comfortable. It's 20-30 mins out of La Croisette by cab, but worth this slight inconvenience.

Make sure you eat during the buffet hour in the morning because they don't have a lunch hour and there are no restaurants nearby. Beautiful property but takes about 20-25 minutes for an Uber to come pick you up and drop off in main area. Also no ice in room or ice machines in the property. Very quiet location.

Annoyed - paid twice
Adequate accommodation but no frills. However having paid upfront in full for 4 rooms for two nights, it was extremely annoying to arrive at 10pm at night and be required to pay in full again. The hotel claimed we hadn't paid. Hotels.com are processing a refund but this should not have happened.

Perfect location, if you have your own car
Everything went according to expectation and the staff were every helpful. Quiet in the winter season, so difficult to say what it would be like if the place was buzzing in peak season. Easy drive to wonderful Mougins village or to the big towns. Not far from the motorway, but needed a sat nav to find it.

Perfect place for Golf Lovers
Very nice hotel in a very nice location. Staff is very friendly and service driven. Suites are spacious and very well equipped. This is a bit remote from the craziness of the "Cote d'azur". This is a perfect place for golf lovers. You will need a car to go places. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back again.

Very nice Hotel 20 min from Cannes Croisette
This is an excellent new Hotel in Beautiful setting. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Make sure you have a good Map or GPS as it is not easy to find. A car is pretty much a must if you are staying at this hotel. Overall it is an excellent value except for the Breakfast which is good but overpriced at 18 Euros.

Fantastic Hotel in great location
Beautiful situation with wonderful gardens, tasteful decor and nice setting in amongst golf courses. Room was superb, comfortable, spacious and with great attention to detail. Excellent views from room and overall impression was really amazing. Only downside is quite a difficult route from A8 with lots of twists and turns, you definitely need satnav and a partner to look out for the hotal signs, but well worth the effort.

Very nice hotel, lovely staff, beautifully maintained gardens. Don't play golf but it looked first class. Good breakfast ! Our room overlooked a quiet railway track and garden store but as they had availability they kindly upgraded us to a suite with view of pool and gardens. That's what I call service. Small issue, pool noisy with little princessess and princes. Would still go there again

Great, secluded location, 15 mns away from Cannes!
Our stay at this hotel was as close to the perfect stay at a hotel we could come to. We booked this location last minute for the 5 of us. We arrived in Cannes around 8 pm and were suppose to meet some family at the restaurant of the hotel. After getting to the car rental agency, dealing with paperwork, etc, we made it to Mougins close to 10 pm. The restaurant stopped serving at 10 pm. However, even though there was 7 of us for dinner, we were enthusiastically welcome to sit and enjoy ourselves. Despite the late hour, we had a great meal, perfect service, and if the kitchen staff was perturbed by our late arrival, it did not get in the way of their professionalism, and the quality of the food was sublime. We checked in after dinner and were taken to our room and given the whole tour. The decor was great, very elegant, and very clean. A hotel employee helped us bring up our luggage. The night of sleep was very comfortable and I was delighted to wake up to a warm, sunny summer Provencal day. We had lunch again at the restaurant the next day, and once again, it was great. The kids swam in the beautiful pool and had a blast. Overall, a great location, beautiful setting, close to Cannes, near the "autoroute" if you want to go on to Nice or Monaco. The staff was very professional, friendly and attentive to our needs. Highly recommended. On note of caution: you may hear gold course machinery from your room. Not the hotel's fault. I didn't bother me.

We have just returned from a 10 night stay and have had a lovely time. We stayed in their 1 bed suite on ground floor overlooking the peacefulandserene golf course. Our terrace was private, but some overlook the pool. Facilities in the room were excellent, the kitchen was small but well formed. The only negative is the shower was not great. We took the option of breakfast, where there is a lot of choice. The restaurant staff are very attentive, charismatic and keen to get to know you, and make sure you are taken care of. The pool is lovely, the loungers comfortable and fresh towels are provided daily for the pool. It appears to be child friendly, but there were few during our stay. The pool bar is convenient, but as expected the drinks aren't cheap. A car is definitely a requirement, Mougins is approximately 10 minutes drive away, but worth a visit and there are a number of good restaurants in the town worth visiting. There are supermarkets, boulangerie,etc are within 5 minutes drive. The hotel location provides a good base to explore the Cote d'Azur from. The restaurant at the hotel serves reasonable food, but menu is limited and doesn’t change regularly, and is not great value based on the quality. I noticed mention of the train line closeby in previous reviews. There is a trainline close, but its noise isn’t intrusive we heard it maybe twice a day, and never late at night. All in all, a lovely hotel let down slightly by the restaurant.

The hotel is very nice. The only remark we have is that there was a shortage of staff . Especially at the pool restaurant , the girl was all by her self and had problems to handle it all alone when she needs to take the orders, serve the orders and even prepare the orders !

It was VERY hard to sleep at night because the overall air-condition is VERY loud (even when turned off)... I asked for a small discount but they wouldn't give it to me....I told them I booked this hotel to have a peaceful stay but they didn't care. The breakfast was very very poor. I have just travelled around Europe for 3 weeks and this was the worst breakfast I have seen so far... Its beautiful located but I would NEVER stay there again.... The staff in general is friendly but I was treated really bad by the female receptionist... My LAST stay ever out there and its almost impossible to find too....

Thishotel is very nice - junior suite very spacious and nice kitchenette with minibar. The surroundings are good too, especially if you like golf as it has its own golf course. Negatives are the location - a long way from Mougins and very difficult to find, and the restaurant food was very poor. Positives, pretty, clean, lovely staff, very good new hotel.

My teen daughter and I wanted to spend some time in the Grasse area and found this hotel with an excellent price. It was one of the greatest surprise of our entire trip. The hotel is new, clean, the staff is very considerate and polite. The location of the hotel is in the suburb area of Mogins city next to a golf course. Beautifull view, peacefull and quiet. Everything was a delight. Our entire experience in France was wonderful but this hotel finding was #1 for our late checking at night..

The ultimate perfection in Southern France!
We had the utmost pleasure to stay at the Mas du Grand Vallon last week. Our experience was one of the best ever. The resort-like hotel is brand new, located in the Cannes coutry side. The rooms are gorgeous and very luxurious. Service is highly personalized and everyone displays a great deal of attention and dedication to making sure your experience will be second to none. Minutes away from the beach in Cannes, Nice and a wide range charming villages. If you plan on visiting The Cote d'Azur, don't look further, you just found the best place to stay.

Mas du Grand Vallon Hotel Golf Resort Mougins
Great hotel/resort with big and clean apartments. The resort is quite small with a nice pool area and a restaurant. The property is well kept and quiet. Our apartment had a terrace with views to the woods and the golf course. Very friendly and helpful staff who made you feel welcome! An excellent place to stay if you have a car and want to explore the French Riviera and want to have high quality accomodation with more living space than in an ordinary hotel room.

Mas du Grand Vallon Hotel Golf Resort Mougins
Have just spent a week in this hotel after it's opening in April 2010. Was very impressed with what we saw even though they're obviously ironing out some teething problems. Quality of the rooms is that of a 5 star hotel, each room is a suite complete with a lounge/dining area, terraces, flat screen tvs, kitchenette and sumptious furnishings. Would recommend a room overlooking the golf course as some rooms the other side of the hotel do overlook a train track (although you literally get one train p/hour). Swimming pool area is nice - it was a shame the pool bar wasn't open as we'd loved to have sampled the food and drink their but they only had their main restaurant open possibly due to the fact it wasn't the height of the holiday season (it was end of June). Hotel is based in mougins but not in the old town which is 5-10mins by car and has fab restaurants. Hotel is an excellent place to base yourself in order to travel this part of the region incl. Nice, Antibes, Cannes and inland treasures such as St Paul, Vence, Grasse, Tourettes sur Loup and Valbonne. Car hire is almost essential unless you simple don't want to move for your duration of stay. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

great if your there for golf
It is "in" the golf course of Mougins so it is great. If you wish to go to Cannes it is not far but you have to get through a couple of some roads and might take time. The buildings are nice and modern. Parking and garage is nice and quite big (a rare commodity in the south of France). Employees are motivated but not competent enough (yet).

Vi bokade en svit o det var fint o rent. Eftersom vi kom sent fick vi ett sms där stod alla info man behövde för att ta sig till rummet. Väldigt bra. Den enda som jag vill säga är att det var något fel med duschen, vattnet rann överallt. Då sa jag till dem dagen efter, var kvinnan väldig otrevlig o sa hon att hon har samma dusch hemma o det gör så när man använder den som den är. Man MÅSTE hålla duschen så att vattnet inte rinner.... Då sa jag att för min del det spelade ingen roll, det var bara så de visste att det var något konstigt. Men istället för att tacka mig var hon super sur o sa den där dumma grejen att man skulle inte använda den som en dusch... Om man inte använder en dusch, vad ska man använda den till?? Jag trodde att de skulle uppskatta att man berättar något som de kanske kunde fixa tills en annan kund bokar det. Men men... Obehagligt o ej trevligt.

Sehr schön im Grünen gelegenes idyllisches Hotel! War alles perfekt! Da wir ziemlich zum Ende der Saison des Hotels waren (Anfang Oktober) hatte das Restaurant abends nicht mehr offen! Leider gab es am letzten morgen unseres Aufenthalts nur mehr ein reduziertes Frühstück, da wir fast die einzigen Gäste waren! Das sollte nicht passieren, da wir ja auch den vollen Preis fürs Frühstück bezahlt haben u. nicht einen reduzierten!! Das war aber das einzige Manko im Hotel, sonst war alles wunderschön!

Séjour d'une nuit ( malheureusement), dans une suite de 2 chambres, d'une propreté irréprochable, au calme en lisière de golf. La résidence est bien sécurisée avec un parking souterrain à disposition. L'espace piscine met à disposition de nombreux transats ..... le petit déjeuner propose un choix conséquent dans un espace intérieur ou extérieur joliment décoré. N'oublions pas le personnel, toujours souriant et disponible. Bref une excellente adresse, que je ne peux que conseiller. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

Heel leuke locatie zeker met kinderen. Het zwembad is erg prettig. Wij hadden een appartement met twee slaapkamers, dat zag er erg netjes uit. Alle benodigdheden zijn er, voor een prettig verblijf. De prijzen zijn voor drankjes en ijsjes zijn stevig, maar ja, 't is de Cote d'Azur. Uiteraard puntjes van kritiek: schoonmaak was niet heel erg netjes en een van de airco's deed het niet.

Prettig verblijf
Prachtig complex met schitterende kamers, leuk zwembad en een ligging die goed is om velen plaatsen te bezoeken. 1 minpunt het eten en drinken is over de top de geprijst aan de boulevard van Cannes betaal je nog minder als hier en dat is ontzettend jammer want dat zorgt niet voor volle tafeltjes of een gezellig drankje.

Lækkert og roligt hotel
Lækkert hotel i flotte omgivelser, som levede fuldt op til vores forventninger. God service og imødekommende personale. God restaurant, roligt pool område, og fint med parkeringspladser. Alt sammen i stille og rolige omgivelser. Det kræver en bil, da der er et stykke vej til nærmeste by (5-10 min).

Great location and value. Nice and helpful staff. Beautiful garden. Spacious rooms. Could use a little paint here and there but overall a very pleasant experience.

מומלץ למשפחות, לנופש וגם לטיולים
המקום מטופח ומאוד יפה אך המיקום קשה. בלתי אפשרי להגיע ללא וויז וחייבים רכב צמוד. יחידות מרווחות מאוד ונעים לשהות בהן ארוחת הבוקר טובה אולם יש גם מוצרים שאינם טריים. ארוחת הערב היתה בסדר גמור.
