Amazing friendly staff, all speak various languages, the hotel is directly opposite the main train station and a 15 min tram ride to the airport, beach is also 10min walk from the hotel

Hotel SoCo is super convenient for the railway station and its totally walkable to the centre of Nice or the promenade. The staff were so helpful and friendly, they made the stay great. The only negative is that I didn't think the breakfast was good value for the price.

Very clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Short walking distance to the Nice city center and Promenade des Anglais. Nice-Ville station is right across the street. Highly recommend this hotel.

Decent small hotel, only 4 min walk from the train station. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk area. Clean and friendly, has an elevator and 24/7 reception. Great for a quick stopover.

Staff was very friendly and rioms were clean, cute, but a bit on the smaller side. Very close to train station and a 10 - minute walk to beach and excellent restaurants and shopping.

Great Stay!
Very helpful staff, they allowed us to check in as soon as we got there which helped us out a lot! Great location if you plan on hopping on the train often. Only thing was I wish i knew how small the rooms were gonna be.

A really great experience- so close to main train station 5 minutes walking with trains straight to anywhere in the Cote D’Azur in less than 35mins, also 20min walk to the Promenade des Anglais. The staff was very friendly and helpful, with front desk open 24 hours. A special thanks to Leila and Sora for accommodating us and having our room clean everyday. Very eco with free filtered water to take to your room and good a/c. Blackout curtains, good soundproofing and great beds. Overall the hotel is comfortable and offers everything you might need, location wise is great, the staff is very hospitable and pleasant and we enjoyed our stay a lot and slept well. The only suggestion I would make is, although they were ok, maybe renovate the bathrooms a little bit, so they look fresher and cleaner, also the towels were clean but always smelled kind of musty. General tip, some rooms are a bit small so if you are a couple traveling with more than 2 luggage, I would definitely suggest booking a room with a balcony which are a bit bigger or a room for three.

Short Stay in Nice
Ideally placed for the station - quiet and near some excellent restaurants in the rue Paganini. Room quite small but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Would help if the reception either spoke English or spoke more slowly in French!

Hotel So'Co was a decent hotel in a well-placed spot in Nice, being next to the train station. Cleanliness was one issue from getting stained towels to not having a mattress protector (I don't know if this is normal here).

Loved the decor/style of the hotel. Right across from the train station gave great transport links. Cute balconies. Marked down (fairly) for the beds/bedding, just didn't give a good nights sleep. The bedding doesn't fit the beds & I've never stayed anywhere with that issue! Flat sheets constantly came off the beds. Twin beds can't be moved apart & the mattresses are lumpy/uncomfortable - just not for us at all. If nothing else you need a decent bed in a hotel. There were other little things too that mean I sadly wouldn't stay here again.

Location was great. Room was small but clean and up-to-date. Would have had issues WFH if I were on a business trip, but for vacation and sightseeing the facilities were great. Most importantly the hotel had AC, and even though it’s centralized you could just go to reception and ask them to change it to the setting you want.

I stayed for four days in order to visit Nice and make day trips to other towns, including Cannes and St. Paul de Vence, for which I took the train. The hotel couldn't be more convenient for the train station; it's less than 5 minutes' walk. To get to the beach in Nice is a brisk 16-minute walk. Though the block where the hotel is located isn't the most attractive (as is typical around the station), and the nearby streets are pretty empty at night, I didn't feel seriously unsafe walking back by myself from the beachfront around 11pm to midnight. Everything in the hotel room was clean and worked, including, crucially, the air conditioning. The bathroom was large and the shower was good, but the soap bottle hadn't been installed correctly in the holder on the wall and kept falling on me. I appreciated the kettle and refrigerator in the room, though would have been happier if the housekeeping staff had responded to my request for more tea after the first day. On a future trip I'd be inclined to spend more to stay closer to the beach and avoid the nighttime walks back to the hotel, but this is excellent value for money and offers outstanding convenience for transportation.

Great hotel for a low cost.
It was a great hotel for the price I paid however the bathroom had some loose fittings and lots of chips around the bathtub. Staff however were friendly, helpful & the breakfast was good.

We got to Nice by train so it was just a 5 min walk to the hotel. Very convenient to the tram for the city as I was travelling with my 74yr old father. Plus close proximity to Promenade des Anglais as well. Will definitely recommend staying here. Plus on the morning of the checkout we ate at the hotel and it was a very good spread.

Great base for exploring
We stayed here for 5 days. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Hotel close to the station which made it easy to travel to Monte Carlo, Villefranche and Antibes. Breakfast during lockdown was very unappealing so went cafes which was lovely. Room very satisfactory but dust on headboard and wall lights.

Central location. Rooms are good and reasonably priced. Staff a bit of a mixed bag - some of them very nice, others totally disinterested. But would go back again.
