"Overall, this property is exactly as listed. It’s in a great location. The only issues we had were lack of toilet paper and paper towels and the cleanliness of the hot tub and back deck. There is a lack of water pressure in the shower. Nathan was very responsive when we contacted him. He is a new owner of this property, so hopefully this review will help him address easily corrected issues."

"My family and I booked at the last minute so we could go view the Solar Eclipse. The process of booking, checking in and checking out was a breeze. Jodey was very responsive and extremely helpful in making our stay very enjoyable. We would highly recommend a stay here, and we hope to return for a Christmas visit to Santa Claus."

"We stayed over memorial day weekend and had a great time. There were 4 of us and a dog, yet there was plenty of space to spare. The back porch backs directly up into the woods, and I kept trying to catch glimpse of sasquatch to no avail. There were a large group of us and the house fit our needs perfectly while giving us an atmosphere that we could relax in and enjoy the natural beauty of Rough River. "This property was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed at. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice, although the lighting over the sink wasn't great. The breakfast bar offered many choices and it was well stocked. Everything just looked very clean and well maintained. We stayed in room 325, and I meant to mention to the front desk that the dead bolt would not slide into place when we tried to lock the door. We liked the big bath towels and the mattresses and bedding were so comfortable. If I had anything to suggest, it would be some signage next to road to show where to turn into the property. We weren't sure where to turn. We ended up on some kind of access road that ran between the hotel and the main highway. That wasn't the right way to go. We tried turning into the McDonalds, thinking a road from their parking lot might exist to get over to the hotel. No luck! We finally found the road to turn onto, and had we used our GPS, it probably would have led us to that correct road; but we could see the hotel and thought we could surely find our way to the front entrance. Just a sign next to the drive would have been nice. Anyways, just a thought from a senior citizen! Thank you for your hospitality and pleasant stay."
