"The villa was in a stunning location, the villa & its furnishings were to a high standard. The only negative we had (which is no fault of the owners), is that be prepared for insect bites. That was our fault as perhaps a stay later on in the year wouldn’t be so bad so soon after spring. This didn’t by any means ruin our holiday & wouldn’t hesitate to book this villa if we were going back. James & Sandra who manage the villa couldn’t have been more helpful, thanks guys for looking after us."

"This is my second stay at this amazing villa..Clean and tidy and communication with the host was fabulous…Beautiful location and with out a shadow of a doubt I will return..Coffee and wine and essentials were on site when I arrived…Full fruit bowl as well as allowed to help myself to fresh lemons off the tree in the little orchard..Thank you for an amazing holiday.Enjoyed my swim every morning before breakfast in the pool."

"Good overall"

Petit Palace Plaza Malaga Hotel

"We had to scramble to find a hotel upon arriving in Málaga as our previous reservation got canceled on us (the host didn’t have an available room after all). This place was a little pricey but it was much cheaper than any alternatives. First off, its location is nearly perfect. It’s right in the center of the historic district so you can walk nearly everywhere interesting, including the beach and not need a car. The room was much larger than we are used to in Europe including the bathroom. We never quite figured out how the AC thermostat worked, so maybe ask the front desk for some pointers. Fortunately it was pretty comfortable most of our stay so we didn’t have to mess with it. The hotel also serves a free breakfast which is excellent. Scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, bread, fresh fruit, etc. Not your typical waffle and cold cereal you find in budget hotels. There is also a filtered water dispenser on each floor and the room contains a glass bottle for filling. Don’t forget to bring your own flasks or bottles so you can take some water with you into town. There was also a mini-fridge, water kettle, a safe, and a hair dryer. We didn’t see a clothes iron."

"Elizabeth at the front desk was fabulous, so pleasant and helpful. The location is great, right in the heart of the historical centre. Easy walking everywhere,lots of shops and restaurants. We were five women all family,the room we had was great.Lots of room. One small complaint...there was no corkscrew.LOL"

"The property is located in a very accessible area to all of Malaga. Unique features include the sleeping pods and the shower/bathroom(very trendy). WiFi connectivity is very fast and easy to access. The staff are all friendly and very helpful, especially Antonio, Alberto, Kevin and Jennifer. They went above and beyond. The remaining staff are also very friendly and helpful with any issues that you may encounter. They are constantly cleaning the floors and baseboards , run by the blonde “Captain”! Almost like being with friends and family. People from all over the world stay at this place so it’s not a boring place to be."

"It’s a well-appointed and generously-sized room. The walls were a touch thin, though this was mostly an issue because someone next door was wearing hard-soled shoes on the wood floor. The only real complaint was the mysterious inability of the air conditioning to stay on. After a seemingly random interval (in the range of hours), it would simply stop, and the only way to restart it was to power it off and on. There was no indication on the control panel that it was no longer working, and the co from panel looked exactly the same after power cycling it. Odd."
