Cute studio villa

Cute little studio private pool villa. Perfect for solo travel. No kitchen with my room but that’s what I booked as I know I would eat out every meal. Plunge pool only, small but refreshing.

Si l'appartement correspondait à nos attentes, nous avons trouvé l'attitude des managers plutôt dilettante. Chambre pas faite si on ne les relance pas. Problème avec les taxis locaux installés devant l'hôtel qui font pression pour que vous utilisiez leurs services (et donc leurs tarifs).

We stayed in a private plunge pool room villa. The pool we did not realise was a plunge pool until we got there, possibly misread the description but the photos made it look bigger than it was. The air conditioner was adequate but a little weak. They had someone come and fix it at night time for us which slightly improved it enough to not be an issue. Reception was quick to respond and act on this. The shower ran out of heating fast. The room was larger than expected however you wouldn’t want to stay for more than a couple of weeks. The location was great! Plenty of top food options a short walk even some over the road. A few laundry places a short walk away as well.

Mini-villa for two

Perfect place to have a mini-villa if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern day Canggu. The place was perfect, with a nice and super clean pool.

The Apartments in Canggu are great value for money and the location is pretty good. Only a 15 min walk to Echo Beach and quicker to the best shops in Canggu. I would strongly suggest booking one of the private villas with a private pool if you can - I had a patio room for a few nights and then the room with the private pool for two nights and the latter was really a step up - newer, felt cleaner, better decorated. Pleasant and helpful staff.

I love the pool so much and the staff is very friendly. We stayed for 2 nights, they clean our room while we were away which is very good. The location is nearby cafe so easy to get food. We really enjoy our stay.

EXCELLENT stay in a very comfortable apt, 20days

This was my 4th stay at the Apartments Canggu, & I will return. I have stayed in both apartments w/private pool (which I love, for the floor plan, pvt pool, & location on the river). For longer visits (1week or more) I have stayed in their apartments where 3 or 5 units share a pool. The rooms are large, the furnishings more than sufficient, closet space & safe are both larger than what many offer in Canggu (if you get a safe!) - and I LOVE A KITCHEN. Since I go to Bali approx twice a year, I do not want to eat out every meal. I shopped at the Samadi Sunday organic market & filled my frig w/local fruits and veg. (The frig is a very nice size). In recent years, Canggu has developed more (both :-) and :-( ) & newer cafes are nearer to Canggu Apt...used to be quite a walk or go on scooter. Now cafes are MUCH better & the newest, GIVE, next door serves the most amazing Vegan food (I'm not vegan, but I enjoyed it many times, even taking my apt plate to the cafe, having it filled w/Nasi Campur, then returning to eat on my terrace w/the pool/lawn as my view). The staff are amazing, keeping the apartment SO CLEAN, and allowing the guests to select an hour of time for preferred cleaning. This normally worked out perfectly, and if it slipped for some reason, I kindly requested that they try and clean while I was 'at yoga', which they did. The outside staff were constantly working as well in the garden or maintaining the exteriors. Owners should be v proud of all their staff!!

Extremely unprofessional service and managing

The place is definitely not as described and managed in a very unprofessional way. 1.The place can be locked from outside but the windows cannot be closed and anyone can enter inside including animals like rats frogs mosquitos geicos etc. There are no mosquito net or a way to close the space at all. Under the front door there is a huge hole where animals just enter inside the villa, for just few days it happened many times. 2. After extending the booking and having paid for it - unexpectedly the staff told us we have to change the room with a smaller one without private swimming pool, window or nature that feel like an enclosed prison while we have paid for a place with the private swimming pool with a view. After being woken up early and forced to change the room the only compensation offered was to pay the difference in the room. The reason for this inconvenience was because somebody booked the apartment already and the they don't update the rooms availability. Clearly this smaller room should have been offered to the person who came after us and not us having the need to do packing and moving for hours. After this we cancelled the booking and left the hotel. The personal promised to send a refund on PayPal and then I received an email from Expedia that the booking was just cancelled and I have to call to the country of residence to receive a credit for future booking. This is ridiculous! 3. Every morning being woken up despite the DO NOT DISTURB sign

Great place

First place myself and girlfriend stayed in Bali. The staff are excellent, we had arranged transport from the airport with them. We missed our connection flight and arrived half a day later and they were very accomodating in re-arranging transport for us at our time of arrival. We arrived late in the night, so we were brought to a 24 hr mini mart to get snacks for the night. Beside the reception you can arrange a moped or bicycle for personal use(cheap) ,the reception will arrange a car to drop you somewhere if you want. There's a restaurant open from 8-8 beside the apartments which will bring your food to your room if you want. The pictures don't do the place justice, the pool is much bigger than we expected for example. The wildlife is fun & harmless to have around with geckos, lizards and frogs to keep you company! Would recommend and would go back if visiting canggu again.

Excellent holiday

Great location if you want to be close to Canggu but value peace and quiet. Staff were excellent and always happy to help. Completely satisfied with the experience and are planning to return.

Good location for Samadi

I was in town for my yoga teacher training at Samadi. Only 10 mins away. About 20 min walk down to echo beach. Super adequate apartment. Not fancy but nice. Basic kitchen which again was adequate. Staff is friendly and accommodating. One bedroom apartment needs some up keep. Couple of broken floor boards etc. Thought it might be an issue with my toddler but she knew to step around it.

Nice and simple

Arrived after midnight and shown around by security who did not clearly point out the reception and it wasn't until days later we realised where it was! Accommodation is simple and very clean.

Not great.

When we arrived toilet didn't flush and it was a recurring problem throughout the stay. Shower water pressure was a problem too but was fixed the same day. In the kitchen there's a hole in the roof. So you can't throw left over food in the bin cause a whole ant colony will come and make its way to the bin. Instead they asked to keep it in the fridge.

Lovely villa, private and romantic

We really enjoyed our stay, the villa was very well appointed with little touches like umbrellas etc. the bed was comfortable and firm, good wifi and we really enjoyed having a private pool.

2時間待たされてチェックイン、部屋のカテゴリーによるのだろうが オープンエアのミニキッチン付きのスタジオルームに2週間程ステイ そのうちシーツを替えてくれたのは一回 タオル類なども言わないとそのまま 昨今のエコブームを都合の良いように解釈しているのかな？食事は自炊か(スーパーは近くに無い)歩いて20分程のバトゥボロン通りへ行くしか無い 長期滞在のサーファー向けです

Great apartments close to nature

We stayed at this hotel for five nights and it was simply the best. The apartment was clean, in good condition and spacious. I loved our own outside area and kitchen. Location is pretty good, nearest restaurant is 10mins of walking and to the beach maybe 15-20mins. It's much easier if you rent a scooter,(3€/day, ask the reception) in the neighbourhood there are almost no traffic compared to Kuta so it's easy for a beginner. I would stay here again. Only downside in this hotel was that the place was full of small and BIG geckos, frogs, and even few rats. Don't worry the rats won't come inside. My girlfriend was a bit hysterical though.
