Very good

Overall the kitchen was poorly equipped and not good enough. the pool wasn't clean enough (there may have been a problem with the filter) and the towels poor quality and too few. Otherwise, the Villa was lovely, location great, price point great, staff lovely, bed superb, bathrooms and showers also great. for me a 4/5 and I think with a very simple addressing of the items above easily for my family could be a 5/5 Loved our trip, we will be back!!

Very Poor Experience

I called the number several times to let them know I would be arriving and no one answered the phone. I made it to the villas and had to go to the owner of the villas next door to help me find someone at the Kawung Villas. We found one person who helped me- she said the number doesn't work because the owner doesn't even live in Bali. So how was I even supposed to make it into the Villa to begin with?? Then she had me wait in one of the Villas that was extremely hot while they were cleaning and also painting the walls. I waited for 45 minutes and then asked her if I could leave and she could give me the key to my villa- WELL the villa I was waiting in WAS my villa. It took away the entire magic of staying here while I watched them cleaning and painting. In the end, the villa was not clean, the kitchen was not clean. I did not feel very safe leaving anything there. She also asked if I needed the 3rd bedroom upstairs and I said I likely would not need it- so they didn't even bother to clean it. The place was in poor condition, not cleaned and I will never suggest this place or return to it.

off to a poor start at airport arrival with driver pickup arriving late and I had to take my own transport to the property. Reception at the hotel was just a caretaker handing me a set of keys. Amenities seriously lacking with just just bath towels and a bottle of general soap and shampoo, no hand or face towels, no other toiletries like toothbrush/paste etc....seriously?? Breakfast was substandard and crockery with just one wine glass n drinking glass each!! kettle is corroded. overall property is poorly maintained. I do not recommend this property.

This had lovely decor with beautiful bedrooms, a private pool and kitchen. The staff were always happy to help us and provided efficient daily room service. Great location in Canguu with many cafes, bars and restaurant in walking distance as well as the beach.

Unfortunately there was a few things about the villa that really made our stay there quite disappointing The place has run down and old, its look nice interior but they not well maintained. The power cut frequently. Mould on bedroom wall and leaking aircond in another room, the safety box aren’t work. Kitchen facilities not great and lot ant over there. No aircond in living room and the weather is hot in bali. Decking in pool area was old and dirty. Stained on wall, seats and bed sheet too. Cleaning was bad on the first 2 days, they has improved the cleaning service after we requested and complained on it. The front desk was terrible messy and the last most dissapointed is the bathroom getting flooded when heavy rain. The location was good, walking distance to beach and great cafe near by. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar fridge was well stocked and cheaper than buying down the street.

Lovely place in a great location. Just 10 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to cool restaurants and shops. We had a great time and loved the place but needs a bit of maintenance. For example: humidity stains on ceilings and bathrooms, big holes on towels, shower mat full of glue, stains of blood on bed linen, broken curtain rails. Quite bad!

Photos and advertising are deceiving

The villa is old and tired. It’s not air conditioned as advertised - just the bedrooms and just barely. Much of the villa is old or in disrepair. It is very overpriced and there is not daily room servicing. Small things like pool towels are not provided. Cannot recommend!!!

Not good if you want to get any sleep

Out of a 3 bedroom villa only one bedroom was really habitable. One had close to zero natural light and the other had a lot of sheer curtains and would be impossible to sleep in. This room upstairs was also like a sauna and the one a/c did not cut it. The villa was in poor condition. Toilet and tap did not work in one bathroom and there was a taped up hose in the bathroom of the other was loose and required to be repaired at our request. The gardens were overrun and dirty. As the bathrooms were open air our bedrooms were susceptible to mosquitos and we had to constantly request that coils were put in our rooms so that we were able to get any sleep. The a/c in one of the bedrooms was so noisy we had to sleep in the loungeroom as the a/c remote did not work and we could not turn it off. Had to request bottled water and extra towels every day as these along with soap in bathroom was not replenished. Location was good and WIFI was good. Pictures do not accurately reflect what the villa was like. It need mosquito nets and block out blinds as a minimum for the price charged for this place. Would not stay here again

Lovely staff & comfortable stay.

Feels like residential area but 2 minute walk to a main strip. One dollar cab ride to popular tourist shopping area. Lovely staff and clean facilities.
