Gungahlin getaway

Lovely big clean home with plenty of beds, quiet nice suburb. Could do with a few more cooking gear apart from that, has everything else you could want. Good for family or several friends get together.

Entire house close to shops in Gungahlin. Easy 10 minute walk to supermarket and cafes. Located on a quiet street in a quiet neighbourhood. Great option for families or groups. The house was very clean. Check in was easy.

Comfortable stay

House was well setup for large number of guests. Could use some glasses and more cutlery to cater for the number of guests it has beds for and another lounge in the room with the tv. Otherwise was well suited for our group. Close to shops etc.

Mediocre

Bare minimum provided which made it challenging in a house that says it caters for 14 people. Not enough cutlery and cups or kitchen utensils to properly cook or prepare meals. 1 garbage bag and tea towel provided, empty hand soaps in bathroom. It seemed the property had been closed up for a while as it was dark and musty on arrival, lawns and gardens overgrown. Not a great first impression. The house was large and could easily accommodate 12, it’s always hard to find places that can do that. Towels, linen, kitchen utensils were all very old and low quality. Couches, carpets and blinds stained which gave the impression of it not being clean.Compared to other Stayz, it’s the bare minimum so be prepared and pack everything you might need. In my opinion, a little disappointing at that price point. Easy communication and check in process. Easily accessible. Lots of parking. Close to shops.

Was a great size place and plenty of beds to choose from. Could of had more cooking facilities. Was nice and tidy. The showers could have been cleaner (mould) and under the beds had rubbish. But over all was nice and comfortable to sleep.

Perfect for a sporting team to stay together

Property was clean and presentable. A bit dated in areas and the shower in the ensuite was leaking.Living area doesn’t have enough seating for 14 people unless you want to sit at dining table all evening.But beds were comfortable and clean and there was sufficient bedding and blankets for everyone. Kitchen was well equipped. Check in process was easy and overall made for a very enjoyable stay
