"The bathroom fan, which was also the light, sounded like a motorcycle chopper. The floor above sounded like someone was going to fall through the ceiling. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were rough. The breakfast was pretty much non existent. We were pretty disappointed."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at the Mountain House. It was clean and modern, and decorated so beautifully. The only problem was that the pictures show a wood burning fireplace (and logs outside) which had been replaced with an electric one. We would have really preferred the wood burning fireplace, and wish this had been more explicitly stated in the description (I'd update the photos pronto). Otherwise lovely place!"

"This was our first time in one of the updated models. Nice kitchen. The heat did not work in the living room which was difficult to be in that area. The management company tried to repair but the base heaters need to be replaced. They did drop off a space heater but this really needs to be repaired. The twin beds in the upstairs room are extremely hard and suggest the mattresses are replaced. The location is nice and management is responsive. "

"The house was nice and mostly comfortable. We happened to be there when it was very cold and the heating system had a hard time keeping up, it was quite cool inside. I'm glad there was a fireplace and lots of wood to keep it stoked."

"Our stay at this condo was enjoyable. It had everything necessary to make it feel like home. Everything was as described in the listing, with only one small hiccup during our time in the area. That hiccup was at the very beginning of the stay, when we arrived about a half hour after the stated check-in time of 3:00 PM to find that the cleaning from the previous guest was still in process. This was not a huge deal, but we certainly would have preferred to arrive to a totally cleaned/vacated unit. Outside of this, everything was really as we expected it to be, and we would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area. "
