"We really enjoyed our stay here. We were greeted on arrival by Donatella and Giuliano and shown our accommodation. We could not have been more happy with the room and bathroom. There was an area outside in the courtyard for me to wash and dry our cloths. The accommodation was close to the train station which enable us to get the train to Cinque Terre."

"We booked this very last minute because we decided at the last minute to visit Cinque Terre so I didn’t read too much about what it looked like. 1. The rooms are set away from the reception area and you have to go down gravel steps. I’m pretty young and ok with it, but my 66-year-old mom struggled. So be prepared for that. "It is a beautiful building, some people would find the lack of WIFI in the rooms as a negative, it didn’t bother me too much, the place was clean but it lacked a/c or fans, and you couldn’t leave the windows open because there were wasp around, it didn’t have hand soap but everything else was fine "

"The owners were very sweet and welcoming despite the language barrier we shared. It’s a rural location which we didn’t mind but you would definitely need a car. Dinners were really good as well. The view from the property was stunning."

"This is truly an amazing property in the mountains above Levanto. How amazing to be above where birds fly and just hear them sing along with church bells. What a fun way to access this property via a monorail. This is a beautifully renovated farm house from way back with a touch of modern features. The whole staff was truly wonderful. I would highly recommend a stay here. "

"We booked the room a long time in advance to make use of the spa facilities. When we arrived we tried to get day access to the spa as specified in hotels.com. We were informed that this was wrong, price was per hour. On insisting, we were told they were fully booked for the day. On insisting further, we were finally offered 2 hours the next morning, but we had to leave and could not make use of the spa. As a note they are still selling day access to the spa on hotels.com. "Gorgeous views in 1000 year old stone villa (built in 1090). Marbles accents, frescoed ceilings, painted tile floors, and many outdoor areas to sit and eat, as well as balconies . Really special spot. Pool is more like a plunge pool, but refreshing and cool. Host Annalisa very sweet and helpful local guide for shipping groceries restos etc. Good base for Cinque Terre day trips. "

"This is a beautiful former monastery high up above Monterosso. You need to contact the hotel in advance to make a shuttle reservation and they will pick you up near the train station. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. Most of the other guests were hikers from the trail between towns. We sat outside at sunset with a glass of wine, admiring the beautiful view. While there’s no Wi-Fi or AC in the rooms in the main building, it was very comfortable, clean and quiet. There were large windows we opened to let in the breeze. We stayed with our college age kids who loved the location."

"I had great hopes for this hotel but fell short a little. The property is nice and well done but does not offer anything beyond a room and a, lets call it "sufficient" breakfast. Unless you use the spa area which looks great on the pictures, there is just nothing else. The view is great, the location is great and the hotel is in great condition. Hence the reason for the 5-star but it sure is lacking something a little more. Parking is a bit of a pain and loading/unloading should be better explained in an initial email before arriving. We blocked the road by mistake. No elevator, for whoever may need that. We were fine. Just would have liked to love it 100%"
