"We booked this very last minute because we decided at the last minute to visit Cinque Terre so I didn’t read too much about what it looked like. 1. The rooms are set away from the reception area and you have to go down gravel steps. I’m pretty young and ok with it, but my 66-year-old mom struggled. So be prepared for that. "I had great hopes for this hotel but fell short a little. The property is nice and well done but does not offer anything beyond a room and a, lets call it "sufficient" breakfast. Unless you use the spa area which looks great on the pictures, there is just nothing else.
The view is great, the location is great and the hotel is in great condition. Hence the reason for the 5-star but it sure is lacking something a little more.
Parking is a bit of a pain and loading/unloading should be better...

"First of all it was very hard to get there. Even much harder to get back in town. We requested a double bed, we were given two single bed next to each other with a big cap in between, could not sleep at all. Hardly anyone spook english.
Over all very inconvenient. I would not recommend to my friends. "

"This Villa was the perfect escape while also close to some fantastic day trip experiences. I was lucky enough to have a wedding here and also one week stay with family. "Absolutely unique place, which is hard to find anywhere else. It has everything needed for cooking in the kitchen or bbq’ing on the terrace, and the setting within an old castle complex and in the midst of mountainous nature is just awesome. We had a great time here, even though it was unfortunately very short for us. "
