"Host was very helpful and gave us ideas of where is good to visit. Being a trip in February with our teenage daughter, having the option of Netflix and Amazon Prime was great for the colder evenings. The house is clean and spacious and Paul had ensured the downstairs bedroom was kept warm with a heater. We explored the local area including Cartagena and Murcia but Mazzaron is a lovely harbour and beach, very quiet in February."

"Apartment was as described, just met us on arrival which was nice. Had a problem with a faulty shower head and just sorted in sane day. Overall apartment is a little tired and could do with a refresh of furniture, but is was comfortable. The walks between this and next apartment are very thin, so we had to move into middle bedroom as we could hear conversation and tv really clearly. The shower should have a temperature control on it as it would be easy to scold yours"

"The apartment had nearly everything we wanted for our month long stay. Only lacking in microwaveable and oven proof dishes for home cooking and proper sunbeds. Not that this spoilt the stay. We just adapted our menu and cooking and utilised air beds for sunbathing on the patios. Previous reviews which warned about the double bed mattress were negated by adding extra layers under the bottom sheets. It was easy to travel in all directions, and we did. Isla Plana is a wonderful little village...

"4th time staying at the hotel which provides great service for the mazarron area. Hotel was busy as Bank Holiday in Spain - they do now charge for parking at a very pricey 10 euros per day. Stayed half board the food choice was a little repetitive but was always fresh and well presneted"

"My son and I stayed here whilst visiting my Father who lives in the port. The apartment was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The pool was a lovely bonus. Sue met us and showed us around the apartment and kindly did a little shopping for us as we arrived on Sunday evening. She was very helpful and jovial making our stay better. All round great value for money."

"Property was decorated to a good standard in a modern style. Wifi was good and TV had a good selection of Spanish programmes. The lounge had air conditioning which was needed. Stairs a bit of a hassle for my wife but we managed. Lovely terrace that was nicely stocked with furniture to eat at and to relax. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge freezer, and microwave. The only problem we had was finding it. None of the doors are numbered in the block and there were 3 to choose...

Amazing villa and pool
"This is a very comfortable and well equipped villa. Large fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. Plenty of crockery and cutlery. Comfortable sofas and lounge area, bedroom was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and lovely walk in shower in the en suite. The icing on the cake is the amazing gardens with stunning pool. Would 100% recommend for a comfortable relaxing holiday. A car is a must as the villa is some distance from mazarron and about a mile from the supermarket, however this was no issue for us as the villa location was private and peaceful."
