"The villa is beautiful, the bungalow unit was perfect for 3 teenagers, just next to the pool. The double room was on the ground floor next to the dinning room but still was quite. The staff are friendly and willing to assist you, the garden is best area for relaxing or playing. The breakfast was very good and fresh. The valley area is must for exploring by car and walk. This castle was built in the 1890s by Romanian savant BP Hasdeu in memory of his daughter, Julia after she died at the early age of 18. The grieving father started spiritism sessions to contact the spirit of his beloved Julia and it is said that the castle was built following her instructions from the afterlife. On the entrance door there are two inscriptions: the family motto 'Pro fide et patria' and Galilei's famous 'E pur si muove'
