Swimming in the private pool at sunset, every amenity and then some at our disposal and restful sleep. We enjoyed great proximity to museums, Austin and the cute town of Smithville. "We had a great time! We made use of the fire pit by the main house at night and caught and released over a dozen fish from the pond in one morning! We had 4 couples so we split up between the main house, the cabin and the guest house. Everyone could retire to their own place, it was great! The host (Sheryl) was very communicative and helpful. We definitely would stay here again."

"I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share our experience. Unfortunately, this stay was extremely uncomfortable, and I left feeling completely unsatisfied.When we arrived, the property was clearly not cleaned. We had to go out and purchase our own cleaning supplies just to make the space livable—which felt unacceptable given the price we paid. The trash bins were already overflowing and wouldn’t close. Bed sheets were stained and appeared unwashed, bathroom rugs...
