"We have stayed at this property many times and have had an excellent experience. This last stay had one issue. We booked a handicapped room with a roll in shower due to the fact my husband walks with a rollator. After taking my shower which was a very short one, I walked out of the shower and almost the entire bathroom was flooded with water. Water started to flow into the hallway and then into the bedroom. I immediately called down to the desk to ask for maintenance, however, I was told they don't come in for another 2 hours. The young girl at the desk was all alone was very nice and so concerned. She gave me a hand full of towels to hopefully soak up the water. Unfortunately, my husband was unable to take a shower. Since we were leaving, I found out the water issue carried to the floor below. I can understand that pipes get clogged and can break. I feel we should still receive some type of compensation on our stay for the inconvenience. The young girl at the desk was so apologetic and was going to leave a note for the manager to see what they could do. We will continue to still stay at this Hampton Inn since we like the handicapped rooms, it's clean and the location to Alfred Tech & Wegmans is perfect for us."

Be sure to carefully check the address before you set up GPS navigation - using the address sent via VRBO confirmation emails, Google Maps took us to the wrong location about 10 minutes away. Easily fixed but easier to take care of ahead of time or when connected to WiFi. Also, be aware that the bathroom is not on the same floor as the prinary bedroom. Corning is about 25 minutes away with lots to do."
