CLEAN and Comfortable

The staff was absolutely AMAZING both at check in and check out. This was the ONLY hotel of the three we stayed at to pass the white sox test with flying colors. Definitely check out the hole-in-the-wall restaurant next door. There is a train that runs through the town, but we stayed in the back and weren't disturbed by it.

Was not expecting a motel. However, once in room it was clean and you can tell recent upgrades were done. Probably want stay there again, don’t like the outside doors, older and feel safer with lobby. I did feel safe there as well, just my preference.

Our stay was good. The room was clean, warm, and I got my request for an extra blanket the 2nd night. Breakfast was minimal, but o.k. for us. The Quality Inn was very well located for where we were going on business each day.

Hotel was convenient and we had a fast check in. The room was fairly clean but the bathroom was not 100% spotless. No real complaints other than it is near a railroad and the horns were disturbing to sleep. Breakfast was basic complimentary offerings. No hot prepared items except waffles and toast.

Got to room and outside the room is dead crickets. When we shut the door we can see a giant gap in the door where bugs were coming into the room. The curtain had bugs all over it. When we pulled the covers bag we had a brown stain on the sheets. Also had stains on the towels. We went to the desk to complain to get more sheets. The sheet he gave us had stains on it as well. Under the sink we found a cockroach.

PLEASED AND IMPRESSED!

We were very impressed with the new ownership/management. the upgrades and improvements were very good. We had stayed here quite a while back and were a little concerned due to previous stay. there are only 2 motels in Cameron and chose this one again due to affiliation with CHOICE HOTELS. were very surprised in the improvements of property and staff. we will stay here again if in this vicinity again.
