Host was very responsive when needing to be reached. there are neighbors relatively close by however you did not hear a sound from humans the entire weekend. the yard across the road does have a small farm and each morning we were greeted by ducks quacking and the 2 cows mooing. "I didn't have a pet but there was a sign that said No Pets in the Breakfast food area due to their county health department limitation. That shouldn't be a problem for someone to leave their pet in their room to go down to eat for a short period."
