"We could only stay one night,but it was so worth it after a lot of frantic driving from the south. Even though we arrived at 10PM our host was waiting and so welcoming. We had a huge room with everything one could ask for. Wonderful views. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was anything one wanted and then some. Our host chatted with us and we had a jolly good time comparing notes on grandchildren and the area. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here again. well done!"

"We had a wonderful time! The house was super cute and clean. The views off the water in the morning and the evening were beautiful! All of the blackout shades came in very handy for our baby and little ones who sleep better in darker rooms. The hot tub was magical and taking the kayaks out onto the water was so fun! Only recommendation would be to bring bug spray! Thanks for a wonderful stay. We would love to come back."

We ran into a couple issues during the stay (no toilet paper, hot water heater breaking) but the owners/property managers were very responsive and did their best to get everything sorted as quickly as possible. "We had two families get away for my wife’s birthday. Four adults and three kids. The rooms were perfect sizes for our group. The kitchen was very well stocked for the various meals we prepared. The grounds were just perfect especially if you want a peaceful water setting to look at each day. The only possible complaint we had was the fact that the listing claimed there was a hot tub present, which was not the case. Otherwise, we’d definitely come back again!"

"We were NOT able to stay at the Phillips Inn because Travelocity screwed up the reservation. Travelocity said the res was confirmed, no need to call the property. I called day before arrival and was told they could not honor the res due to the death of the owner May 22. I made the res May 25. On June 22 Travelocity still had no idea the owner was deceased or what the property was doing. Call Travelocity Customer Service, 2 hour wait to talk to CSR. "The hotel staff were amazing. However we did not have good service at the restaurant. We stopped in there for breakfast after 8am, they still had not unlocked the doors. After waiting at the door, a security guard unlocked them and let us in. We then stood at the counter for over 5 minutes, several employees looked at us and walked by us. We eventually left when it was obvious no one was going to take our order. "
