"The hotel served our purpose. The bed was very comfortable. When we first checked into the room, we noticed the seat on the toilet was broken. It was replaced within 20 minutes of calling the head desk. The restaurant in the hotel has great food. The hotel is on the main corridor, so expect lots of traffic noise."

"Check-in staff were great - extremely friendly and welcoming. The Arbor bar is a little soulless and the - vegetarian Asian Vegetable Stirfry was one of the worst meals I’ve eaten. Huge amount of rice, freezer veg and some sauce. No cashews, no bean sprouts, no sesame seeds. For $19 you must be making quite the profit on that. Overall a good spot to stay but I’d recommend you eat at Three Idiots next door or the restaurants at the hotel across the road."

"Booked a standard city view room with a King Bed, the room was quite small (not a lot of room between the bed and the table/desk) but practical. A nice assortment of teas provided plus coffee pods and a fridge. I appreciated the bottled water to use for coffee since Waterloo water is soft and doesn't taste great. Comfortable bed and large pillows, plus bath robes and shampoo, etc. provided. A convenient location and friendly service - with the option to text front desk with any requests. Would stay again."

"The staff was nice and friendly however the staircase smelled of stale smoke, the bed was so hard and one of the worst beds I ever “slept” (didn’t sleep much) in, room was clean (no signs of bedbugs or anything like that) but it was definitely dated and worn and could use some upgrades besides a coat of paint. The complementary breakfast was either waffles or cereal and being gluten intolerant there was nothing I could eat and no breakfast place opened before 7am. Thank goodness there was a Starbucks nearby for a quick egg bite before being in a seminar all day. Overall it was meh, but probably wouldn’t stay again unless have to."

"I wasn't happy to book a hotel with a pool on here through Google then onto this website to find out there was no pool the hotel outside and inside was falling apart carpet through out the hallways as well as our room was rappelling I almost tripped a couple of times. Out bedding had tears in the the floor of our room also had massive stains as well as the couch the paint on the walls where peeling behind the door as well as by the sliding door. The sliding door was so hard to open and close like its track wasn't cleaned in a while. I wasn't expecting for the amount of money I paid for two nights to be like this or also the fact that breakfast was sandwiches that my husband has at his works canteen not a breakfast you would expect from a hotel also the fact that there was no one there to check us out at the end was crazy I had a maid of the hotel say to leave the keys and go and I get my deposit back later. I have never stayed in a hotel where that has happened. This was crazy and my husband and myself where extremely upset with this whole experience especially when we drove 3 and a half hours from kingston to get this kind of hotel and treatment. No one was there to even talk to about a refund or even some money back for this whole thing. What if there was a fire there was only the maids no staff at the counter"

"We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the beds provided a great night’s sleep. Our room had only one queen bed, and when we requested additional sleeping arrangements, the staff promptly provided a cot that was surprisingly comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast buffet. While many hotels offer similar breakfast options, the quality here was noticeably better. The eggs and omelets tasted freshly prepared rather than made from processed egg mixtures, and the overall food quality was excellent. We also appreciated the use of real plates, cutlery, and cups instead of disposable paper and plastic products, which made breakfast feel much more enjoyable. Most importantly, every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay."
