Top Camara de Lobos Hotel Reviews

Hotel Riu Madeira - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"This resort is in an excellent location for tourists. Half way between the airport and the major city of Funchal. The views are stunning. The staff friendly and very pleasant. The food choices were vast and delicious. We signed up for the all inclusive and it was well worth it. Lots of great excursions, hikes, adventures, dining and shopping."

Barcelo Funchal Oldtown

8/10 Good

"We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights and really enjoyed our stay. You can’t beat the location. The rooms are a bit small and to look at the view I needed to stand on a chair but I knew that when I booked it so all good. We enjoyed drinks at the restaurant and lived the live music. We used the rooftop pool almost daily and it’s great place to watch the sunset or look at the stars late at night. We would recommend it."

Castanheiro Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Location is just about perfect, right in the centre of historical Funchal, a few minutes from the cathedral and ten minutes from the cable car up to Monte. Nice, spacious room, even had proper studio kitchen facilities and gear to go with it. Good view from the roof top, and great breakfast offering. Very helpful staff, even provided recommendations on dealing with a flu that was starting to make its presence known. And we were allowed to utilise the spa in the afternoon after checking out on the day of departure."

Village Cabo Girao

10/10 Excellent

"Tout était parfait, qu'il s'agisse de la qualité du service, de la propreté ou de l'accueil. Les services de dépannage et de blanchisserie étaient très pratiques, et l'hébergement s'est avéré fort confortable. Un seul bémol mineur pour mon mari : l'absence de climatisation a rendu les nuits quelque peu chaudes."
