About this property

Ancient house in the hill with a garden and view to the sea. Wi-Fi free

Ancient house on two floors (ground floor and first floor) completely renovated, inserted in the ancient medieval village of Migliano in the hills between Lucca (20 km.), Camaiore (13 km.) and the beautiful beaches of Viareggio (20 km. ) , on the top of a hill (360 m. ) surrounded by woods and olive groves.
Our property is on the ground floor and directly overlooks a beautiful well-kept garden for the exclusive use of our guests, with a cool and shady pergola equipped with table and chairs for having lunch. From the garden you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the hills with a nice glimpse as far as the sea.
The house has a large living-dining room with fireplace and kitchenette. A bedroom with a double bed, a small bedroom with bunk beds for 2 people, suitable for children and teenagers, and a modern bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. Another room has a wood-burning oven where you can cook bread, pizza, etc. The house has free Wi-Fi and is equipped with mosquito nets on the door and windows. The house is furnished with great attention to detail, with some original antique furniture from the grandmother.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Leider ist die Anfahrt zum Objekt sehr anstrengend. Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind Tages abhängig sehr unzureichend. Die Wohnung ist nett eingerichtet, weist aber doch, gerade in der Küche und im Badezimmer etliche Gebrauchsspuren auf. Zudem ist die Ausstattung gerade ausreichend. Hier wurden nicht mehr benötigte Haushaltsartikel einfach zusammen gewürfelt. Die Handtücher waren alt und verschlissen. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt für mich hier nicht. Wir mussten sogar die Bettwäsche selbst abziehen, obwohl hier schon 70,00 € für die Endreinigung erhoben wurden. Ich würde die Fewo nicht noch einmal buchen und auch nicht meinen Freunden weiter empfehlen.

Wunderbares, ruhiges kleines Bergdorf

Die kleine Ferienwohnung liegt in einem sehr kleinen, hoch am Berg gelegenen Dorf. Die Aussicht von der kleinen Terasse geht wunderbar auf die Berge und auf das entfernt liegende Meer. Das kleine Häuschen ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Im Bergdorf selbst gibt es keine Einkaufs- oder Gastronomie-Möglichkeiten. Die Sepentinenstraße zum Bergdorf ist schon recht abenteuerlich. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wer Ruhe und Aussicht mag und die Serpentinen nicht scheut, wird hier glücklich. Wir fanden es Klasse.

Schöne Wohnung mit wunderbarer Aussicht

Die Wohnung ist schön gestaltet und mit allem eingerichtet, was man braucht. Das Beste ist der schattige Sitzplatz im Garten mit wunderbarem Blick über die Hügel bis zum Meer. Das Dorf ist allerdings sehr klein und einsam, es gibt keinen Bäcker, kein Restaurant und keinen Laden in Laufnähe. Man muss also immer das Auto nehmen. Das ist etwas unpraktisch, dafür ist es aber sehr ruhig und erholsam dort. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat viele gute Tipps für Restaurants, Strand, Ausflugsziele etc. parat. Danke für einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt!

Idyllisch gelegenes Haus mit fantastischer Aussischt

Wir haben das zweite Mal unseren Urlaub in Camaiore verbracht und es genauso wie das erste Mal sehr genossen. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Schönes, rustikales Haus, mit vielen leibevollen Details und einem herrlichen kleinen Garten davor, am Rande eines kleinen Bergdorfes. Wer die schmale Serpentinenanfahrt nicht scheut, findet hier einen wunderbaren Platz zum Abschalten. Dank an Giampiero, der stets um uns bemüht war. Wir kommen wieder.

Un séjour de rêve dans un cadre authentique

Nous avons bien apprécié le séjour de 1 semaine début septembre dans cette location : la maison est bien équipée et donne sur un jardin idéalement exposé à la lumière du jour. Ein herrlich gelegenes Ferienhaus inmitten einer idyllischen Natur. Schöner Garten, fantastische Aussicht. Das Haus sehr geschmackvoll mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtet. Sehr zu empfehlen für jeden, der die ursprüngliche Toskana abseits des Touristenrummels erleben will. Zum schönen Strand (der auch sehr voll sein kann) sind es 20 Minuten, teils über reizvolle Serpentinen. Giampiero, der Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben jeden Tag genossen.

Familienurlaub an einem authentischen Ort

Die Wohnung liegt in der winzigen, aber ursprünglichen und hübschen Ortschaft Migliano. Diese ist über eine schmale, verwundene (aber asphaltierte) Serpentinenstraße erreichbar. Zum Befahren und Rangieren benötigten wir etwas Mut, haben uns aber schnell daran gewöhnt. Die Parkplatzsituation ist etwas schwierig: Es gibt eine begrenzte Anzahl von Parkplätzen am Ortseingang, von denen meist 1-2 noch verfügbar sind. Um zur Wohnung zu gelangen, muss man von dort aus ein gutes Stück die Straße aufwärts laufen. Direkt vor der Wohnung besteht eine eingeschränkte Haltemöglichkeit zum Be- und Entladen. Die Nachbarn sind dabei kulant, doch Parken kann man dort wegen der Enge der Straße nicht. Mit Familienequipment und Einkäufen wird das tägliche Prozedere etwas mühselig, doch wird man durch die Ursprünglichkeit des Orts und die Lage der Wohnung entschädigt. Es handelt sich um eine Erdgeschosswohnung, der darüber liegende Stock wird ggf. von der Gastgeberfamilie genutzt (aber nicht, während wir da waren). Der gepflegte Garten verfügt unter anderem über Rosensträucher und Kräuter (Salbei, Rosmarin und Oregano). Gastgeber Giampiero gibt die Kräuter explizit zum Verzehr frei und freut sich, wenn man sich ein wenig um die Bewässerung seiner vielen Pflanzen kümmert. Man hat einen grandiosen Ausblick auf die umliegenden Hügel und Täler in Richtung Meer (wobei das Meer selbst nicht mehr in Sichtweite liegt). Beeindruckend ist die nächtliche Stille, die man als Städter überhaupt nicht gewohnt ist. Die Wohnung macht einen gepflegten und renovierten Eindruck. Sauber war sie auch. Es gibt eine Küche mit Gasherd und viel Geschirr, Kaffeemaschine, Pad-Maschine, Elektrogrill/Mikrowelle, Toaster, im Schuppen noch mehr Geschirr und einen Kohlegrill. Waschen und Spülen muss man von Hand. Im Bad gibt es wenige Ablageflächen, alle Armaturen sind modern und in einwandfreiem Zustand. Giampiero war sehr hilfsbereit, klärte z.B. schon im Vorfeld unsere Ankunftszeit mit uns ab, nahm uns beim Parkplatz in Empfang, gab uns eine ausführliche Einweisung und hatte zahlreiche Ausflugstipps auf Lager. Auch während unseres Aufenthalts war er per Whatsapp für uns erreichbar. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und könnten uns gut eine Wiederholung vorstellen.

Wunderschönes Haus mit tollem Meerblick

Das Haus ist wunderschön auf einem Hügel in dem kleinen Ort Migliano gelegen. Es hat einen zauberhaften Garten mit Liegen und einer schönen Pergola mit einer tollen Aussicht bis zum Meer. Der Garten ist schön angelegt mit Blumen und Kräutern und perfekt zum Entspannen. Vor allem die Ruhe ist wunderbar. Bis nach Viareggio und zu den freien Stränden braucht man mit dem Auto ca. 20-25 Minuten, aber dies nehmen wir für die Ruhe und die angenehme Atmosphäre gerne in Kauf. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die letzten Kilometer von der Landstraße bis nach Migliano sind sehr kurvig und die Straße ist schmal, so dass man vorsichtig fahren muss, aber das ist fast immer so, wenn man zu den Häusern in den Hügeln mit einer schönen Aussicht möchte und nach eingen Mal hoch und runter fahren hat man sich daran gewöhnt. Wir kommen gerne wieder, da wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Herzlichen Dank und liebe Grüße

Casetta tenuta molto bene fornita di tutto il necessario e oltre. Paesaggio molto caratteristico in un clima fresco e piacevole. Giardino privato in cui poter prendere il sole liberamente e dove poter mangiare all’ombra della pergola. Un cadre charmant dans un site insolite

La "casa de nonna rosa" est vraiment très agréable à vivre - même lors de fortes chaleurs ! Fonctionnelle et décorée avec goût, elle se situe dans un village perché ayant conservé ses charmes d'antan. En retrait de la station de Viareggio et de la Versilia, mais non isolé, proche de la merveilleuse Lucques, notre petite famille y a passé deux semaines charmantes. Un (énorme) plus pour Giampiero d'une amabilité et d'une bienveillance à souligner et à remercier !

Wunderschönes Haus und Garten, komplett ausgestattet, gepflegt und ruhig

Das Haus und der Garten sind traumhaft schön, die Räume sehr sauber und man hat alles, was man in Haus und Garten so braucht. Alles erscheint geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist herrlich ruhig und man kann wunderbar entspannen! Der Vermieter ist wirklich sehr nett, hilfsbereit und nimmt sich Zeit, um seinen Gästen alles zu zeigen und noch einige Tipps für Unternehmungen und Sehenswertes in der Umgebung zu geben. Einen Stern Abzug gebe ich, und das mag lange nicht auf alle Personen und Jahreszeiten zutreffen, wegen der unangenehmen Feuchtigkeit im Haus. Man muss dabei bedenken, dass das kleine Haus wohl nicht sonderlich stark isoliert ist und oben auf einem Berg liegt. Jedenfalls trockneten Handtücher kaum und die Bettwäsche und Kleidung waren immer klamm. Dies war selbst bei trockenem und warmem Wetter so. Kein gravierendes Problem, für den ein oder anderen, ggf jedoch im Vorfeld zu beachten. Ansonsten ist diese Unterkunft absolut zu empfehlen!

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung mit reizenden Vermietern

Die Ferienwohnung ist genau so, wie sie auf den Bildern wirkt: hell, freundlich und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Bergdorf ist urig und die Menschen dort sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ebenso wie die herzlichen Vermieter. Wir bekamen eine ausgiebige Einweisung in die Wohung und ihre Gegenstände, das Müllsystem und Einkaufs- und Restaurantempfehlungen. Nach zwei Tagen erkundigte man sich auch, ob etwas fehlt und wie es uns geht. Die Wohnung ist wirklich toll ausgestattet: Filterkaffeemaschine, kleiner Backofen, Toaster, Microwelle und der Kühlschrank hatte zur Freude des Kindes ein top Eisfach, so dass auch immer Gelati zu Hause war. Wir waren im herrlichen Garten ganz für uns alleine und konnten ungestört essen und spielen. Bis zum freien Stand in Viareggio sind es 35 Minuten Fahrt, bis zum Einkaufszentrum in Massarosa 25 Minuten. Das nahmen wir für die herrliche Aussicht und die Ruhe gerne in Kauf, ebenso wie die Tatsache, dass wir ein gutes Stück von der Wohnung entfernt parken mussten und nur zum Ausladen vor die Wohnung fahren konnten. Alles in allem hatten wir einen Traumurlaub. Dankeschön.

Das Haus, vielmehr die Wohnung ist sehr idyllisch gelegen. Allerdings kann man mit dem Auto nicht direkt an das Haus fahren, so dass ca. 150 Meter zurückgelegt werden müssen. Die Idylle hat auch ihren Preis. Mann muss zum Bergdorf eine sehr schmale Straße hochfahren, was ca. 10 Minuten dauert.

Very pleasant stay: Very nice hosts, beautiful hou

We can highly recommend the house, its location and the hospitality of the owners. Location is remote but that's what we were looking for. Still, places like Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terre etc. easily within reach. Beautiful little garden with possibility of barbecuing, pizza oven and many more pleasant aspects! We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks a lot for everything again Giampiero!

Wonderful week in a house with beautiful view.

We had a wonderful week in the house of Mita and Giampiero. The owners of the house gave us a warm welcome. The house is very well equipped. It is a very nice, old house with thick walls, so in the house it is always very cool. The garden is a beautiful place to have lazy days. You can always find both a place in the sun as a shadow place. From the garden you have a magnificent view about the hills and the sea. And last but not least: WIFI works perfect! The village Migliano is a very small village, there are no shops and you have to park your car on a central parking lot and walk to the house for the last 150 metres. We went to Pisa, Luca and Pietrasanta. In Viareggio you can go to the beach, near the lighthouse is a free beach. We have also been to the marble caves of Fantiscritti, highly recommended. When you have any questions, the owners of the house are always available. We hope we can come back sometime. We want to thank Mita and Giampiero once again for their hospitality. We certainly had a wonderful week in Migliano. Ciao, Reinier, Ellen and Mirthe.

Maison typique, calme et confortable

Nous avons passé deux semaines en mai dans cette maison, qui est situé dans un petit village à flanc de montagne. Plusieurs lieux touristiques sont à proximité. Giampiero et Mita sont très accueillants et sympathiques (merci encore pour l'accueil chaleureux!). La maison est propre, il ne manque de rien. L'endroit est retiré et très calme. Nous aurions apprécié un peu plus de soleil et de chaleur extérieure, mais cela, nos hôtes n'y sont pour rien!!! Lise et Daniel

Heavenlike apartment

Dear Travellers, we spent more than two marvelous weeks in Giampieros wunderful house and loved every hour in our "nest" in the middle of the village Migliano and on top of the hills. Yes, the sight is absolutely impressive: the peaks and deep, green valleys and the Mediterranean at the horizon. Migliano is fairly close to the cities of Lucca (20 min.) and Pisa (40 min.), the beach is not far (25 min.), the white Marble Mountains of Carrara are within reach (45 min.), and even Firenze can be reached in just one hour. And it is the quitest place during night - just what you asked for during holidays. The detailed photos proofed to be more than true - the rooms are just neetly furnished, with lots of taste, the kitchen is well equiped, everything was very clean and tidy and in a proper condition. Every evening we spent hours of wine drinking and chanting in front of the fireplace. There is a barbecue grill and a special wood oven for preparing a pizza. And the garden ... without words. Giampiero and Mita are the nicest and most attentive hosts, they had a lot of tips and hints for unique excursions in the enviroment. They told us where to get original olive oil and where to drink the best sprizz in the toscany. We definitely will come back to this very unique place and tell all our friends and family to spent their vacation here. Do not hesitate. Leave for Migliano. Alma (8 months) and Jana and Ulrich
