We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Palia Tropico Palmanova. The food selection isn’t massive, but that’s actually a positive – everything is high quality and delicious. Drinks are plentiful with a great variety, and the recently refurbished (2024) rooms are modern, spotless, and very comfortable – especially the beds. The staff strike the perfect balance: friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The location couldn’t be better, directly across from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sea whenever you like. Entertainment was enjoyable, though the lighting in the venue could use a tweak – Flamenco dancers, for example, would have had much more atmosphere under softer, ambient lighting rather than bright downlights. Still, that’s a very small improvement to suggest for what is otherwise an absolutely fabulous hotel. We’ll definitely be back!

Das Hotel macht einen guten Eindruck und ist modern eingerichtet. An manchen Stellen merkt man, dass es noch nicht ganz fertig geworden ist. Hier sind Arbeiter noch in den letzten Zügen. Diese sind aber kaum bemerkbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Animation war sehr bemüht… muss man mögen oder auch nicht.

Hotel is een beetje gedateerd. Dat is niet erg want het is er wel netjes. Het eten is best te doen. Niet veel variatie maar wel vers en als je gezond wil eten kan dat. Wat ik een negatief punt vind was dat de rokers bij de ingang van het hotel een plek hebben gekregen waardoor je steeds door een serieuze rookwolk moet lopen om in en uit te gaan. Schijnt in Spanje gebruikelijk te zijn want de rookvrije zones die we hier kennen zijn daar nog niet doorgevoerd. Overall genomen was het een goede locatie en de ligging aan een heel mooi strand maakt heel veel goed.

Tropico Playa est un hôtel bien situé. Les chambres avec vue piscine /plage. Le buffet et répétitive et pas trop de choix. La propreté ils doivent encore faire un effort (on est rester 3 jours sans que la femme de ménage passe) L'état de la salle de bain est catastrophique l'eau part dans tout les sens après chaque douche et tout la chambre est inondé Certaines serviettes sont à retirer du stock. La dernier heure pour accès restaurant est 21h ça convient aps à tout le monde.

Très bien situé dans la rue principale face à la plage. Arrêts de bus à proximité. Hôtel très propre, personnel très sympathique. La piscine est petite mais suffisante. Seul point négatif, les boissons ne sont pas de très bonnes et la nourriture non plus.

Lovely and traditional hotel. We booked the Tropico for my 50th birthday and we were not let down in the slightest. Stayed there for four nights. From check-in to check-out,we were not disappointed. Hotel is very clean through out. Food is good,we are not fussy eaters and there was always something there. Pizzas are outstanding. Cooked fresh in front of you. Food is always hot. Entertainment was very good. Mary's night on a Thursday is a must. Bingo and disco.Pool area, very clean. Johnny behind the pool bar was excellent, always made sure you were ok. Would we book again? Definitely.

I loved that the hotel was right opposite the beach. The pool area was in shade from mid afternoon so it was easy to grab the remaining few hours of sunshine on the beach. The pool isn’t very big and, therefore, not a huge number of sun beds but I always managed to find one. The staff were constantly sweeping the floors and keeping the hotel clean. The room was adequate although could have done with a bit of tlc, especially in the bath/shower. I will definitely go back again 🙂

Jonny som bartendern hette vid poolbaren var riktigt jobbig och spelade samma musik konstant. Sen fick vi problem med rummet och fick säga till 4 gånger innan dom fick någorlunda rätt på elen i vårat rum. Maten var riktigt bra inget att klaga på där och personalen i restaurangen var riktigt trevliga och roliga. Tyvärr fick vi ett rum i byggnaden sidan om uan hiss så det blev en hel del trappor upp o ner hela tiden när man skulle någonstans.

Great location!

A quick 4 day break for some sunshine and relaxation and the Hotel and Palma Nova provided both. Hotel is in a great location and staff are very friendly.
