Great Stay

The apartment was cute, clean and perfectly decorated. Julie stocked everything you would need for your stay. We loved the apartment itself and the location and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

Calumet Stay

We loved our stay! Everything was clean and comfortable. The decor was cohesive and artistic with a nice wabi-sabi mix of original art, antique and thrift.My son loved discovering the bowl of yooperlites!The character of the building shone through

Great place!

This was a nicely appointed, charming apartment in a location close to the activities we enjoy. The apartment was very clean, the accommodations very comfortable and the proximity to local businesses is ideal. Communication from host was timely and clear. Wonderful place!

The apartment was excellent and my stay was great. The property manager was prompt in replying to my questions. This would be great for a couple or a family with kids. It might not be as good for two couples because you have to go through one sleeping area to get to the other bedroom. Everything was clean and well maintained and the kitchen was well set up to actually cook meals. Overall this is a great place to stay in the Keweenaw. .

Calumet Stay

We loved the accommodations! Great location, easy access to downtown; everything is within walking distance. And the location was good for driving to Houghton/Hancock, Laurium and others. The house was exceptionally clean, and inviting. Will be returning there when we go back to Calumet!

Perfect getaway in the Keweenaw!

We loved the apartment! Very clean, comfy beds, and the perfect location for access to activities: beaches and rock hunting, copper mine tours, hiking and cross country skiing trails. There was no smell of fish since the nearby fish shop was closed. Would definitely stay here again!

Ski getaway

Loved having the building to ourselves. Quiet Close to Mount Bohemia (30 min) furnished kitchen for small home meals. Cute property maybe 20 min from Houghton which had more entertainment as well Would stay again

Christmas/New Years stay

I have stayed here twice and will very likely return next year. It is an older property, but not lacking in any way. The owner has been friendly and accommodating. It is secure and quiet.

Super clean apartment in cute town

Nice little apartment in good location. Great communication with property manager, no problem getting in. Nice cookware and dishes, although stove and fridge were a little wonky. Overall it worked for our weekend just perfect!

Best time ever!

The property was perfect in every way with detailed attention paid to even the tiniest of comforts. It was unique, lovely, and incredibly clean. We never tired of all the things to look at. The plants were super healthy and well cared for. Furniture and bed were SO comfy. The location was perfect for the Copper Dog! Everything was 100% and communication with host was bar none. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Cozy & cute

Immediately upon walking in, my boyfriend & I adored the fun decor & MI rock collection. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils, the bed was super comfortable, & the building location was fantastic! (Just minutes from several local cross-country ski tracks & some of my favorite rock hounding locations!) The only issue we ran across is that the shower likely needs replacing. But overall, really enjoyed our stay & we hope to be back in the future!

Calumet is a Beautiful Town

This property is immaculate and within walking distance of several shops including a bakery, coffee shop, farmer's markets, museums and galleries. I highly recommend it. The only reason to get in the car is to visit Lake Superior, less than 10 minutes away.

Diamond in the rough

The apartment was just what we were looking for! Spacious and clean and great location for our Keweenaw trip. It was fully furnished with thoughtful amenities and decorated with nice artwork. It is an older building but that is what made is spectacularly special for us. The historic town is full of amazing architecture and history! Everywhere we visited in the area we encountered very genuine, thoughtful and refreshingly kind people! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Charming historical place

If you’re looking for a charming historical place to stay in Calumet Michigan, this is the place for you. Julie is very accommodating and her rental unit is super cute. This place is close to Houghton. If you have a student going to Michigan Tech, you’re only within a half an hour from them. It is located in the perfect spot so you can go check out the fall colors up in Copper Harbor. For our plans this place was perfectly located. Thank you again, Julie.

Sweet comfortable stay

It has been 30 years since we graduated from Michigan Tech and explored the keewanah peninsula. We hoped to ski Mt Bohemia but the snow wasn't forth coming. The area is still rare with beauty and full of kind and gentle souls. The apartment is very comfortable and has great light and charm. It was perfect for us. I'm sure we will try to book again next ski season.

Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was just as advertised; very clean, comfortable and convenient. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you would need and then some as was the bathroom. Every little detail has been remembered. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. Coming from someone who can't sleep in a bed, that's saying something. There was no A/C but there were fans and there was a very nice cross breeze throughout the apartment. The restaurant downstairs was YUMMY! and super convenient. We just really loved this little place. BTW, the price was very reasonable.

Must See To Believe!

You can't grasp how freakin' cool this apartment is by the pictures. If you like quirky, creative, but highly functional spaces, this one is for you! The owner displays some of her own amazing modern art and every inch has some sort of unique, creative thing to look at - be it the walls, floors, countertops, furniture. She has thought of everything to include in the apartment to make your stay comfortable. I will definitely keep this place on my list of favorites before it becomes too popular to book. Located right in Downtown Calumet, you can walk to all sorts of interesting places that should attract plenty of creatives, history buffs and outdoorsy types. Interesting galleries, museums, a locally-produced public radio show venue, good food, a couple beautiful cafe/bakeries, adventure shops, really interesting old buildings and a good amount "ruin porn" for the photographers. This place is going to boom soon. Get up there to see before its unique character is lost.
