Accommodating up to 4 guests, it features a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds, both designed to ensure restful nights and privacy.

The home also includes a spacious living room ideal for relaxing, a fully equipped kitchen, and a laundry area, making the stay practical and comfortable. The bathroom with shower serves all guests efficiently.

Outside, the barbecue area and dining space provide a perfect setting for outdoor gatherings, while enjoying the calm and serene surroundings of the property.

Located in a quiet area of Calheta, Relax Garden House offers quick access to local attractions and is an excellent base to explore Madeira at a relaxed pace, surrounded by nature and serenity.

GETTING AROUND

The best option to get to the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment.

- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.

ATTENTION

We inform that a Municipal Tourist Ecotax will be charged for person staying overnight in the municipality of Calheta. All guests staying in tourist developments and / or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged 2,00€ per person/night, up to a maximum 7 nigths stay/ 14€ per person. Close to your arrival, you will receive the link to pay this fee.

We will definitely be back.

We booked the house Relax Garden House through An Island Apart. Everything went very smoothly and professionally. Clear and well organised information was sent on time via SMS, WhatsApp and email. Everything was very clear, and there was always a contact person available. If you miss anything at your location, they arrange it for you the very same day. In our case, this meant two electric heaters for the cool and humid evenings at the end of December. Very well organised, with friendly and pleasant people. Also five stars for the house we stayed in, Relax Garden House. A beautiful location on a hill in the middle of the southern side of the island. A large terrace with a small garden, fresh lemons growing on the tree, and a magnificent view over the ocean and the town of Arco da Calheta. A perfect base for making beautiful trips around the island. The house has been newly renovated and lacks nothing. A lovely, quiet place. Private parking under a carport with access via an electric gate. The woman and owner of the house was amazing and kind. Upon arrival we received a basket with fresh fruit, nuts, two small bottles of liqueur, homemade jam and banana cake — so sweet. On Christmas Day there was another surprise waiting for us at the door: all homemade Madeiran delicacies for our evening dinner. It was delicious. We travel a lot as a family, but we have never experienced hospitality like this before. All in all, a solid 10+ on this beautiful island. We will definitely be back.
