The property sits in gloriously peaceful surroundings, far from the hustle and bustle but still very accessible and with a beautiful ocean view. The neighbours were friendly without ever being intrusive, the perfect balance of warmth and discretion. The location itself couldn’t be better: close enough to local attractions, cafés, and shops, yet tucked away in tranquility. Inside, the host has clearly thought of everything: all the basic amenities (kitchen staples, fresh linens, toiletries, etc.) are provided with care and attention. Most of all, the host was exceptional: responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our stay as comfortable as possible. We’d highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a restful, beautiful retreat."

"Adega Velha is a wonderful place to escape to and enjoy the island of Pico. Hosts Fátima and Helio were so welcoming and helpful. Morning coffee on the patio with great ocean views, swimming in the ocean, hiking….lasting memories. Thank you!"

"Place is pretty beat up and could use some maintenence for sure. Oh, and the fire alarm was going off for a solid 3 hours in the middle of the night which made it pretty tough to sleep. Otherwise not too shabby. "

"We enjoyed the three days we stayed at Casa Baía de Feteira. The house was well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies and the welcome basket was a nice touch. Note Google maps does not take you to the driveway when using the “directions” feature within the vrbo app but rather a nearby location. This was easily and quickly corrected by a note to the host.
