Convenient location. Room was clean but no central heating, have to turn on heater unit (noisy). Cigarette disposal container was outside our room and the smoke was coming into our room through the heat/fan. Closet door broken, could not close.

I liked Royal Hotel before, but from now on I'm wondering I may come back to the hotel or not. Breakfast menu was not enough nor fresh. When I reserved the room, the total amount was $176.36, but later they charged $187.40. I called them and complained about that and they agreed it was overcharged, but still not refunded after 5 days and no answering

Always a good stay with Wyndham. Excellent breakfast offered over several hours to meet all traveller’s needs. Location is convenient for airport or downtown. Close proximity to Hwy2. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and comfortable.

The chairs in the room are really uncomfortable; There might be something wrong with the bedding because I get itchy every night when I go to bed, but I’m fine during the day, so it’s probably not just because Calgary is dry; I stayed at the hotel for 9 nights and they only cleaned the room 3 times, which I could overlook, but unbelievably, they didn’t make the bed during two of those times.

The breakfast was good but the dining area isn’t large enough to accommodate when the hotel is busy. We stayed for 2 nights mid week and each morning we had to wait 20-25 mins in line to get a table. The hotel wouldn’t allow guests to sit in other areas or take food back to your room. There was also no hot water for showering. In the 2 days we stayed we couldn’t find a time in the day when there was hot water. So very cold quick showers. We called the front desk the first night and again on check out. It was very disappointing. They didn’t offer us a discount or anything in compensation. We probably won’t be staying at this hotel again.
