"What an amazing place to stay! It is a well-maintained 13th century monastery/castle. And the staff were warm and friendly. Just note that it is a bit of a walk to other food places and the town really shuts down on Sundays!"

"Comfortable hotel with plenty of parking outside. Our room also had a lovely big terrace. One point to note is that (probably because we were staying out of the peak period?) the in-house restaurant was closed for the Sunday night. There seemed only one restaurant open that night in Castellote, which is situated on the outskirts of town, but within walking distance, at the bowling alley. We therefore still managed to get an enjoyable meal. "
